So far so good, this tent is much bigger than I expected and super cool! It’s got great room inside and the super helpful storage with rain/wind block in the vestibule. My son loved it, gave it to him for Christmas and we immediately set it. It’s not a real backpacking tent, as the shape and weight are awkward for that, unless you were not hiking far and one person didn’t mind carrying it in strapped to their pack? This could easily sleep 4, or would be fantastic for 4-8 smaller cousins or friends to pack into! Grandparents could definitely use this for when the grandkids come to visit—outside or in a garage or rec room. It packs up flat, so finding a place for it when not in use is super easy. Better yet, PARENTS bring this in the car when visiting friends and if kids get bored they can play in this. Because it’s double walled it’s dryer and quieter, in my opinion. There are great windows to open to get light and airflow, and not leave kids unattended. I would recommend practicing several times to close it, or just watch the video each time until you get the swing of it—which I will have to do as I’ve only closed it up twice! Lol Added 3/2021. Imagine if more Texan’s had this inside their homes. I think more families wouldn’t have suffered as much from lack of heat if they all piled into this to keep warm during the power outages. Would it give them electricity? No. But they would have kept warmer & maybe less panicked. Also consider a Jackery, 12Volt blanket & emergency foods for the next disaster. ... show more

Awesome for the price. People think these easy pop ups are not as good as regular tents but this worked great. As soon as I got it I threw it up in the backyard, 2 hours later it rained. My son and I stayed in it that night, still raining until early morning. It was rained on steadily, not very heavy but constant for about 8-10 hours. There was a few drops that made it in through seems but nothing that puddled or that even would of fallen on me or woke me up. The tent in tent style allows it to breath and not condensate inside, also with that this is not a cold weather tent by any means unless you have a quality sleeping bag. No holes on the screens. Zippers worked fine. Easy to put up. I did buy other stakes and only used them so can't speak on the stakes that come with it. Like another review said rain will pool a little on top, it wasn't bad, did not collapse, but I did push the roof up a few times just to make sure that didn't happen. I never write reviews. This is awesome for the price. Only downfall is collapsing it isn't super easy to get it back to its smallest size for the bag but do it a few times n you got it. ... show more

The reviews lead me here, seemed like a great idea and many other had a positive experience. So I took a shot. Initial setup is easier than I ever expected, camping with two small kids I don't get a lot of help so this was right up my alley. It didn't rain so I'm not super sure how well it keeps put water but it looks solid. Another positive is the rain fly is integrated, no second stage of setup is a huge plus especially on windy days. It's roomy but I wouldn't say six people roomy, more like 3.5, I'm tall and so is my wife this might be a little tight for all 4 of us and with one door someone is getting stepped on I will bet. I didn't realize it came with the awning poles, these are very underwhelming, kind bent already and don't lock in any way, there is some concern here. Also impressive is it's actually very light when compared to other easy setup tents, I was surprised here. Overall looks well built few details may be a porblem but overall setup and takedown (with practice) is a pretty easy one man job. Now let's see how long it lasts. ... show more

    • A NIGHTMARE to fold to its original size for storage and transportation. DO NOT BUY!
This is the first review I have ever left on Amazon, and I felt compelled to with how much of a nightmare this product was. I have been camping my whole life and have typically used the standard model tent with poles. I have seen pop-up tents becoming popular over the last decade so I figured I would give one a try. At first everything was ok with the tent. My wife and I were able to open it and use it. The tent is a little short in height for my liking as I was not able to stand up at all. I am only 6ft so I am not that tall. That wasn't the problem. The issue with this product is either one of two things: 1) I had a faulty tent that was unable to re-fold back to its original small shape. 2) This product is poorly engineered and flat out won't refold. I was with my wife and 6 other people, and not one of us could get the tent to refold. To make means worse, a massive storm rolled in and we were stuck outside trying to get the tent folded up to get it in the car. I had to end up breaking the poles and shoving in the tent covered in mud into my car as I wanted to return it to Amazon for a refund. The 8 of us collectively spent over an hour trying to get the tent to re-fold to no avail. Yes there are instructions on how to refold the tent that are absolutely piss poor. I hope this review causes you to rethink your purchase. I have been making consumer products for 15 years and never try to talk bad about a company. I felt that I needed to review this product as I wasted so much time in not just trying to get it back in my car, but then to have to wrap the whole thing in plastic to ship back since it couldn't fit back in the original box. So then I had to spend an additional $25 on shipping plastic wrap in order for UPS to take the Amazon return. 2 of the other couples I was with also had different brand pop-up tents that went up in minutes and down minutes seconds like its supposed to. Stop reading now and look for a different product. End of rant. ... show more
