The price was awesome, I had an idea on my mind that I wanted to personalize Christmas gifts this year. The texture of the boards allowed me a first timer to see my thoughts to come to life. All my boards turned out great and everyone that received one was extremely happy.

These are about 75% good. Lightweight wood. Always needs light sanding on sides and sometimes top has chipped edges or top is uneven. Usually 1-2 per package. Overall, still like them.

The boards were a great value for the quantity. One had a slight crack, but that didn't interfere with my purpose. The surface is thin so care is needed, but construction is well-made.

    • 8 x 10 "Deep" Dimensions
When the description says 8x10 deep, the assumption (mine anyway) is you can frame an 8 x 10 item. The 8 x10 size is the back of the frame dimension. You cannot "frame" an 8x10 picture. I got these to fit an 8 x 10 canvas for a project I'm doing. I don't think it was clear enough in the description that the "framed" dimension is 6 1/2 x 8 1/2. This is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. ... show more

These are nice to use for wood burning. You do not have to add a hanger on the back, because the back is open. They are not heavy so to hang them in your wall a tack will do.
