These jars have taken over my kitchen and pantry and I couldn't be happier. I am slowly replacing all my plastic containers with glass containers. While these are extremely cute mason jars they aren’t 16 ounces, they won’t hold 2 cups of liquid. They almost hold 16 ounces but I filled to the rim and had a couple of ounces left in the measuring cup. They are more like 12 ounces for the purpose of recipes. They do seem like nice jars, thick glass and they come with lids. I’m going to keep them and use them for another purpose. They’ll be great jars to store small quantities of snacks or for individual portions of prepared meals that I make ahead of time before RV trips. ... show more

1. They do not seal properly and I believe they do not seal at all 2. Washed them and dried them as you should. Next day the tops were already creating rust 3. Very flimsy and honestly expensive considering the cheapness of the lid materials. Honestly I give it about a 4/10 The quality of the cups is immaculate but the sealable lids is the whole point of this product.
