I wanted to hang up some string lights in the backyard but had no clue how to make them look good without drilling holes or doing a big project. These poles seemed like the easiest option and honestly they worked out fine. They stick into the ground and hold the lights without much hassle. It made the patio look less like a boring slab of concrete and more like a spot you actually want to sit at night. Nothing fancy but it does the job. The poles are not super heavy so you have to make sure you push them deep enough into the ground. If the soil is soft they can wiggle a bit, especially if the lights are heavy. Putting them together was pretty straightforward but I did notice the metal scratches kind of easily. They look solid from a distance though. I would not trust them in a hurricane but for normal nights they hold steady. I tried moving them around a few times to get the lights lined up right and that was actually pretty easy. It is nice that you can rearrange them without much effort if you want to change the look. Once the lights are up it gives the backyard a chill vibe. The poles are tall enough to keep the lights overhead without feeling like they are in your face. My only issue is the fork at the bottom is kind of sharp so you have to be careful not to stab your foot. If you just want a quick way to hang lights these are worth it. They make the place look nicer without having to build anything permanent. Sure they are not the most heavy duty poles ever but they work fine for casual use. I would recommend them for anyone trying to fix up their yard on a budget. It is nice to have people actually want to sit outside for once.

Very easy to assemble and install. Pretty sturdy and great for shorter runs of lights (less than 10 feet), but flex on longer runs of lights. Overall, an excellent purchase for the price point. Probably deserves 5 stars, but I pushed their limits and they gave just a little bit.

Very easy to set up, ilI like how they are adjustable.l, so you can set the hight that you want by adding another pice. Be careful the higher you go, and they are not a sturdy at the the max height. I wish the poles were a little thicker to hold more tension if you use them to hold up larger lights. The quality of the poles could have been better. One had a weld reworked, which caused the ground fork not to sit correctly over it. Also had one weld not even touch both sides of the pole. (I weld for a living so i look at things like this.
