Not much to say here, it works. I'm using this on an Espresso Machine from breville, and not a Nespresso (I know Breville has a nespresso machine). The liquid descaling probably worked, I did see some grinds come out of my espresso machine after doing a descaling process, but since I do this often enough, I doubt i'd see a difference in taste. The tablets themselves are pretty good to be used as backflush tablets or even as soaking tablet solutions you can use on your portafilter baskets and portafilters. I'd probably consider buying this again, but I think the price is too similar to the other products I'm already buying, so It's hard to switch sides for less servings. ... show more

    • What is a "six month supply"?
This product will work well for you; the intent of my review is to try to add helpful details not in the seller advertisement. This item contains six tablets, one bottle, and one "pod" cup. The tablets' ingredients are listed as sodium carbonate, sodium percarbonate, tartaric acid, and polyethylene glycol. You are meant to use one tablet per cleanse, so the seller is expecting you to clean your espresso machine this way once a month. The bottle's ingredients are listed as just citric acid. You are meant to use one half of the bottle per cleanse, so the seller is expecting you to need (want) to use this method once every three months. The usage instructions are printed on the bottle and on the box, and there are QR codes supposedly linking to a video demonstration. Mine also came with a QR code promising some kind of 'bonus' if I scan it, but I'm QR-shy. ... show more

    • Cleans your machine, but you really don't need to clean as often as this indicates
This descaling kit comes with a bottle of liquid descaler for cleaning your tank and supply lines. It also has a plastic cleaning pod and cleaning tablets to clean your pod holder and works. Most of the time you don't get the pod and cleaning tablets so they are a nice addition. You are instructed to use half a bottle of the descaling solution every 3 months and use one tablet every month. That is honestly way more often than needed, even if your machine gets heavy use or have mineral heavy water. I clean my machine once every six months or so and that is more than enough. Their recommended cleaning schedule really seems like a way for them to sell more cleaning products. I really think you are better off just using vinegar to clean your machine if you are going to do it as often as they recommend. This definitely cleans your machine. My machine was in need of a cleaning and there was evidence of water scale in the cups of water as is normal when I use other descaling solutions or just use vinegar. It works but I honestly don't know if it is worth nearly ten times the price of a gallon of white vinegar which really cleans just as well. ... show more

I believe in telling the truth. (6 Month Supply) Nespresso Compatible Vertuo Descaling Kit, 3 in 1 Coffee Machine Descaler does not treat your coffee machine for 6 months. The bottle treats it twice and there are four "left over" tablets. I normally run vinegar through our machine and it seems to do a great job. Since this product is so expensive, I imagine I will stick to using the vinegar. My coffee tasted good after using this product, but I just can't justify the price! I won't be purchasing it, so I can't recommend it. ... show more

This coffee maker descaling kit comes with everything. Although I do not have a nespresso machine, this stuff also works for other coffee machines, it's a descaler and cleaner. Instructions are meant for a nespresso machine. But for regular coffee makers or keurig ones, just follow the instructions for the same amount of water and solution, pour it into your coffee maker's water reservoir, and do a normal brew if your machine does not have a descaling function. There's a QR code card that comes with this for the video instructions (made by nespresso and not by the manufacturer of this product), easy to follow. And it comes with an extra reusable nespresso pod and cleaning tablets. It's good set. If your coffee maker tastes weird already or you haven't cleaned or descaled it for months or years, you definitely need this. ... show more

    • Super easy, worked great!
I love my coffee maker, but I really don't clean it as frequently as I should. This kit makes the process super fast and easy. The solution that goes in the tank seemed to lift a lot out of the inside of the machine. It had a slight shimmer as I poured it into the tank water. As it came out, I noticed a fairly thick, white scum come out first. Then I saw several brown/black chunks that didn't look like left over coffee grounds. The pod seems to help loosen debris from the brewing head. I didn't really notice a difference in the flavor of the first cup I brewed after using this, but judging by what cam out, I feel like my brewer is much cleaner! ... show more

I got this Nespresso Descaling kit for my Nespresso Machine but I also used it in my Fully Automatic Espresso Machine. This stuff is great. You get 1 descaling bottle, 1 reusable pod, and 6 cleaning tablets. You need a half bottle of solution per machine and 1 tablet per machine. That will leave you with 4 tablets left and no descaler solution. So this is really a two month supply as is. After removing the machine's water filter, I proceeded to follow the directions. I did the same solution mix for both machines. It was a simple process and my machine is better for it. It's flow is improved and the coffee tastes better. ... show more
