So far this is working well, we gotmit to replace an old unit, it was easy to install and was a decent price. I can't say much to how long it will work yet, but so far so good, so.I hope the quality of the piece holds up. Mounted to wall really well and is sturdy.

    • It's OK. Price is good.
The controller works mostly. The knob to adjust the pulse does nothing when you turn it. I have not tested it with a tester to see how many volts it actually puts out but I'd guess it's way overrated cause at the 8,000 volt setting the dog was not even deterred. 12,000 volt setting does the trick but the pulse is too spread out. Easy to set up. Not real easy to see the display in daylight but it could be worse. Seems mediocre at best for build quality. You get what you pay for I guess. ... show more

Bought it August 2024, and here it is March 2025, and it has crapped the bed. It trips my GFI after about six seconds. After extensive troubleshooting, I finally decided to open it up, and the transformer was smoked (you could easily smell it).
