I'd really like to give this polisher a full five stars, but I have 2 small issues with it. First, the good stuff: this polisher kit contains several discs, a bonnet, and the tool itself. It's a good quality starter set and it provides several levels of polishing or buffing capabilities. The tool is comfortable to hold, well balanced with a 6 ah battery, and easy to hold and use without causing hand fatigue. The power switch is conveniently located, as is the speed contol disc. Speeds are 1 through 6. Plenty of speed to meet some tougher tasks. The main issue I have is the lack of eccentric movement. It's only a few degrees off concentric. It's enough to help prevent swirling on heavier abrasive use, but not always enough for lighter work. It's going to require extra caution to do good work without causing issues, so pay attention. My other issue is speed. Lowest speed available is a little too high for my working style. I'd prefer about 2/3 of that speed as a baseline. Again, just pay attention when using it for lighter finish work. And speeds 5 and 6 are loud. Really loud. The sound isn't coming from vibrations, because it's no worse at those speeds than the lower ones. It's just annoyingly loud. But wear headphones or something I guess. I like this polisher, because it certainly beats old school elbow power by a mile. It's smooth enough to work longer jobs without being causing fatigue. It's well built and it's a good value for the price. ... show more

This review is for the Funnywhale 6 In Cordless Car Buffer Polisher for Dewalt 20V Overall: 5 Stars I've been reviewing a number of cordless tools from Funnywhale lately, all of them using the Dewalt 20V batteries. Almost all of them have been exceptional, especially for the price. This polisher is no different. It works with all of my Dewalt 20V batteries, OEM as well as generic. It also works with the 20V/60V Flexvolt batteries, meaning you can get long lasting power for those longer jobs. The polisher starts quickly and reaches operating speed just as fast. I have a corded DA polisher from a well respected name brand manufacturer, and frankly, I don't see a lot of difference in the performance. The power switch is conveniently places, as is the speed selector thumb wheel. I appreciate the brushless motor (I've been going brushless whenever I add or have to replace a worn out tool). The included pads provide a good starting point, and the Velcro attach disc works with the pads from other manufacturers as well. Overall, the polisher is ergonomically designed, the rubberized handle provides a modicum of padding to help alleviate fatigue from vibration. ... show more
