My little propane generator came with a really short hose. This gives me the length I need and is very well constructed. Normally I would add a point because they were nice enough to include a small roll of teflon tape. But in this case I subtracted a point. Air and water fittings with NPT threads use teflon tape because they seal on the threads. Propane fittings do NOT seal on the threads. If your hose is leaking and you manage to get it to stop with teflon tape you are creating a dangerous situation. The tape will eventually start leaking, probably when you aren't around to know it. The makers of this fitting KNOW how it works. Did they add the teflon tape because they had problems with their fittings? In any case, including teflon tape suggests to the end user to use their product improperly and potentially dangerously.

Absolutely no good and unsafe. First time using I could hear a hissing at the crimp where it screws to the 20lb tank. Get closer can smell propane. Would not trust if I were you.

Best upgrade for camping. Previous hose was stiff especially in cold weather and hard to get the burner in the place you wanted due to the hose memory. This solved the issue and stores much neater.
