My use for this is not in a fixed HVAC installation but as a flexible and redeployable outlet for a DIY air-brush hood. I needed something that would stand up to being disconnected and reconnected repeatedly and so far this thing has done just fine. really a nice product. easy to expand and contract so no trimming was required and the clamps were the perfect size. I used it in a server room application where I needed to vent a temporary AC into the plenum during primary AC overhaul.

I bought this originally because it was cheap. But i'm impressed I used to be a appliance specialist for a local company and this is way better quality than what I've seen. It's thick and flexible the clamps are good as well. Typical dryer vent is supposed to be changed every 6months. This I say probably two years but clean it out every 6months still ... show more

My son uses this as a tunnel for his rabbits. They love zipping back and forth through it. Yes I know it isn't the intended purpose but works well for our needs. Doesn't last forever as they also like to chew holes in it eventually, but it's pretty cheap so we go through about 2 a year, doesn't break the bank. ... show more

    • Works great with my portable air conditioner
This is great stuff. I had to do some custom exhaust extension ductwork for a portable air conditioner, and needed the leeway of not knowing just how many feet I would actually need. This ductwork is easy to twist and bend around as needed, is lightweight, is strong, and is easy to cut.
