Almost exactly what I was looking for! We just moved and got rid of our old queen size spring mattress. I thought I preferred spring because of the bounce but decided to go for this instead because of the low price for a king size. It's VERY comfortable, not too soft or overly firm. I weigh 100 pounds my husband weighs 250 pounds and it suits us very well. Theres absolutely no sinking feeling (for me, slightly sinking for my husband) but its firm enough that it goes back to its shape quickly enough when you move. I also don't have that stay in the bed feeling when I wake up anymore, I feel refreshed. There was a paint type smell that it kept a day or so but I just left the window slightly open to combat it. I won't be mad it only lasts a year or so because the price was soo cheap. I will probably buy it again if it needs to be replaced, I rather do that then buy an expensive mattress that'll only last 5 years. Okay I’m going to try to be as detailed as possible. So we decided to upgrade our bed after 5 years. I searched everywhere on Amazon & all the other brands were either $300+ or we’re going to take almost a month to get to us. But then I found this, I read all the reviews & we decided to try it. We had never ordered a mattress online before but decided to give it a try. It shipped pretty fast but then somehow was lost in transit (which is still don’t know how they misplaced a package this big) but it wasn’t the seller’s or amazons fault, that’s on ups who it was shipped through. I contacted Amazon & they immediately ordered a replacement. That was on February 15th. Amazon said it wouldn’t be here until February 22nd & we were okay with that. Well it ended up showing up on February 17th! We were so excited. The box is heavy so it’s easier for 2 people or someone super strong to carry. My husband got it upstairs & unpackaged which was super easy to do. It almost immediately inflated but we gave it about 12 hours to sit. Last night we slept on it for the first time & omgggg love it. It’s definitely firm which is what my husband wanted but still soft. The memory foam is great & makes you feel cradled as you sleep. It pops right back up pretty fast too! One of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever bought. We will be buying a full size for our daughter since she needs a new bed too! Amazing quality at an amazing price! ... show more

I bought this in January and now it’s April. It was easy to setup. Do as it says let it rest no sheets until it rises the full 12”. It took about 6 hours but we let it sit for 24 hours before we added the sheets, pillows and covers. This is firm but soft! Perfect medium mattress!! It holds its shape extremely well! I’m 275lbs. So let’s face it; the mattress must hold well. I LOVE this mattress!!! It’s so comfortable and the foam is very high quality!! Highly recommend! What made me try this was two other reviews stated they had a child with special needs or themselves and this mattress was comfortable for them. They were right!     • Surprisingly good for your back

So I’ve forever been terrified of buying a foam mattress. So I thought I’d order this to try out foam because my spring mattress was over 10years. This one is a good price to test and had good reviews. So I got the mattress. I was very skeptical and worried the whole time I let it opened to decompress. It had no problems forming into its shape in about 6 hours or so. I allowed it to air out standing instead of flat. It really had no smell. I put my nose to it and thought my eyes got itchy after but maybe it was from something else. So no odors and no problems with its shape. So finally I slept on it. And I guess since I’m not use to foam it felt really weird. It feels like you’re stuck in every position you move into. But I guess that’s how it is. It has a sinking feeling but I guess that is also how it is. I woke up actually feeling really good and like my back was straighter. And I ordered 8 inch and it indeed shaped into 8 inches because I measured it. It seems smaller but it’s not compared to my old mattress that is also 8 inches. Ok so my reason tho for 4 star is because the material is polyester which you can’t find in the description. Polyester is really bad for your hormones but it seems they make everything out of plastic nowadays. I researched organic brands and basically anything labeled organic vegan etc is just greenwashing. All foam mattress are processed with tons of chemicals. They have to. It’s a science in order to turn fibers into all the crazy things they make. They will then add some essential oils at the end to call it organic. Overall this is a wonderful buy for toxic mattress because they all are. It’s a lesser evil. It’s very comfortable in a stiff odd sinking way. I bought some cotton sheets to help balance things out. I recommend you buy this mattress for testing the foam waters and your budget. ... show more

Surprised that only 5 inches and actually comfortable. My wife and I were skeptical having just came from a 4 seasons pillowtop bed which i disposed of during our move. The bed was ready to use in 24 hours (may require 72 hours to assure its fluffed up to its full extent ) I am 6' 200 pounds and my wife is 5' 6 125 ish and we had a great sleep . I have no complaints and originally I got this because it was cheap ,not an air mattress and intention to be used for a month or 2 but after sleeping on it , I think I'm going to put off shopping for another bed for awhile, my wife was happy with it and to think I thought about returning it before I ever opened it based on how thin it is. I am glad I didn't because it's surprisingly comfortable and for under 100 dollars it is well worth it. If I was to test this bed without knowing anything about it I'd think it was easily a 500 dollar bed or more just from comfort alone. Now I wouldn't go jumping in the air and belly flop on to it because after all it is only 5 inches thick but make no mistake this bed is actually comfortable to sleep on. ... show more
