I switched from a full size 8 inch to this Twin 10 inch after finding it difficult to change sheets/move a full size. I use a wheelchir for last 30+ years. Put the box on my wooden frame ond opened it. manuevered it so it would open up about right. Unrolled the OUTER plastic off easily. Flipped it while the second layer was still on. The second layer you just have to pull/tear it off all the way around the top half. Raised the mattress a little bit to slide the bottom layer out from underneath. By the time I had THAT done, the mattress was fully expanded !! I put the waterproof cover on it I aslo bought from amazon and Have been laying on it for over an hour and it is so comfortabe! My older mattress had a "hole" in it that was where I usually lad over the years and it was difficult to get out of, since I am paralyzed from upper chest down. There was NO smell and I am VERY pleased! I will update this as time goes on and let ya know how it sleeps etc. ... show more

I don’t write reviews unless something truly earns it — and this mattress has earned it for five straight years. This thing is soft without being “sink into oblivion,” supportive without feeling like a gym mat, and somehow puts you to sleep faster than scrolling your phone with one eye closed. You know that moment where you think, I’ll just rest my eyes for a second? Yeah. That’s this mattress. It’s also shockingly hardy. Five years in, it still feels great — no sagging, no weird dips, no “why does my back hate me now?” mornings. Which is exactly why I just bought another one for my son Jackson’s room. When you find something that works, you don’t gamble — you double down. If this mattress were a person, it would tuck you in, say “you’ve had a long day,” and knock you out cold. Worth every penny. This bed is surprisingly very firm, it states medium firm but I was able to do some of my yoga on it to stretch my back with no sinking. We are used to a mattress with a little five in it and this does not give at all. Very hard on a side sleeper. Other than that it is a great mattress for the price. This is not our everyday sleeping mattress, thankfully, but we did sleep on it for two weeks straight and I wanted to give some feedback. ... show more

This is the cheapest mattress I could find online. It came vacuum sealed and expanded pretty much right away. Comfort-wise, it’s not uncomfortable, but it’s not a cloud either just somewhere in between and on the firmer side. You can remove the cover to wash it, although I can already imagine the fight trying to get it back on. For the price, honestly hard to complain. ... show more
