    • I've used it twice and it's dying.
I have used this router twice and today while using it to edge a countertop it started surging in speed. Sometimes it'd slow way down and then speed back up a bit. I fiddled with the speed control, thinking the potentiometer was flaky, but it didn't make any difference. When out of the wood, it'd speed up and seem to run nice, but whenever I put it under a load it'd slow down then surge back up then slow down again. I'm beyond the return period so I suppose I'll have to eat it, as I don't know how to contact the seller. ... show more

The router is a decent size and weight. But...the bits that come with it are not usable. The first time I used one the bearing spun off and I damaged my piece. Yes I checked the screw tightness. The other caution is the tool is not designed to stand upside down on end. The surface is not flat, lay it on its side. I will use it with higher quality bits. ... show more
