I bought this battery 2 months ago and it is terrible. It does not last more than 20 minutes with a full charge and does not hold a charge if it sits doing nothing for a day or two. I have had more work time out of my tiny 2 amp Black and Decker batteries than this one. I charged the battery before first use as instructed so that is not the problem. I had Ryobi batteries before and would never buy a cheap imitation again! Not a savings if it can't do the job.

This battery is closer in dimensions to the 4Ah Ryobi battery, which means that it likely holds a similar number of lithium cells to that battery, but the cells are almost certainly of a lower quality. My best guess is that it will hold somewhere between 2.5Ah - 3.0Ah. Degradation rate is anyone's guess. I've had OEM Ryobi batteries fail after 1 year, so I dont think even genuine Ryobi batteries are very good. At least these are cheap.

Battery worked perfect for the first four months of use. Performed very well, enabling extended use sessions. Suddenly will not take a charge. I would recommend not buying this battery. Too expensive to fail so quickly. Very disappointing.

This battery was around $60. It charged on my Ryobi charging station. Lasts as long as I need it. I now have plenty of battery. The 2 hr Ryobi I think is just over $100. This is the 6 hr n it was $60 ish. So far so good. No complaints.
