I ordered this Vaukki 5x7 Area Rug for my new office. I'm moving from upstairs to downstairs, and I wanted something to soften the hardwood floor in the new room. I'd gotten a thin "floor throw" style rug (know what I mean? the really, really thin new rugs out there?) that I really like the look of, but it slides around too much, and it is impossible to vacuum because it sucks right up into the vacuum (I found out on another very similar rug in another room), so I thought I'd try this one. I am waiting for some drywall repair and repainting before I can move into my new office space, so I cannot begin actually using this rug yet, but I spread it out in the living room to take a peek. I love the texture! The loops are cut, so the rug pile is soft and thick, and the texture is in a brick pattern. If hubs ever finds time to finish up the last of the work in there and I can finally move in, I'll place this rug and update this review with pictures and with any in-use points that may come up. The texture is the first thing you notice. It has a soft, fluffy feel under your feet, not the scratchy synthetic finish you sometimes get with thinner rugs. It is definitely on the lighter side, thinner than I was expecting, but it still feels pleasant to walk on and the pile has a gentle movement when you brush your hand across it. The colour sits in a warm beige that blends in easily without fighting the room. Once I laid it out, it stayed put without any creeping at the edges. The backing grips the floor well enough that my cats immediately claimed it and spent half the afternoon sprawled across it. Vacuuming is easy, the fibres lift without clumping and the pattern stays clear. It is not a heavy, plush rug, so if you want something with a deep pile this will feel a bit modest, but for a soft accent piece it does the job nicely. It has settled into the room without fuss, and the cats seem to think it was purchased entirely for them. If you want a cosy, soft rug that is simple to maintain and comfortable to walk on, this will suit you.

This is such a beautiful and plush rug! I am very impressed with the quality, softness, and how comfortable it is underfoot. I was looking for another throw rug for my kitchen, and I like the more modern design of this. There is a lot of foot traffic, so I was looking for a rug that is durable and would vacuum easily. The rug checks all of my boxes. It’s is very grippy on the bottom and does not slip or slide. I can easily fold it up when not in use, but I have not yet had a reason to. Everyone who visits comments on the beautiful design and plushness. The beige color is a gorgeous neutral and would work in any room. I am so glad I ordered this rug and would highly recommend!

This is a really nice, soft area rug, and I love the geometric pattern that gives it a little extra texture and visual interest without being overwhelming. It has a low-pile design, but it still feels plush and cozy underfoot, almost like a shag rug without the extra height. I actually prefer that because it's much easier to keep clean and is more practical for everyday use. I purchased this rug for a bedroom, and I think that's the perfect place for it. The cream color is beautiful, but I personally think it would be better suited for a lower-traffic area rather than an entryway or other high-traffic space. The fact that it's washable gives me much more confidence that it will continue looking nice over time, even with regular use. Another feature I really appreciate is the non-slip backing. That's a must-have for me because I can't stand rugs that slide around on the floor. Overall, I think this is a great rug for the price. If you are looking for a thick high pile area rug you will want to look elsewhere. This area rug is very thin and while it does have an anti-slip backing it is average at best.
