Very soft and it's a beautiful rug, but the color isn't as faded as the picture makes it out to be, so it looks weird with my decor. I ordered a different color to try it out. Hopefully, it's better. Also, you should definitely get something to keep it down. I have it on a carpeted floor and it bunches up A LOT! My toddlers use it as pretend ice to ice skate, if that tells you anything. For the price, it’s very nice! Does not come with a non slip mat but even if it’s laid on carpet, it doesn’t move or slip too crazy. Came in folded instead of rolled but surprisingly no crazy creases! Just the right thickness. These rugs are amazing! I ordered 2 in different sizes. They are gorgeous, and they will be perfect in my home, which has many pets, including a dog that likes to roll around on our current area rug. We like that we can wash these rugs and they seem durable. The colors are very much like the photo.

I’d love to give this product five stars because it is a beautiful rug justice pictured, however, one side of the rug is “cut/sewn” crooked. I’d say there’s about an eighth of an inch difference. For the price though I don’t know that anyone else would notice it.
