It holds a tv well but it doesn't raise it up very high. It literally sits as low as the bottom of my bed. It's good if you have a platform bed that doesn't use a box spring. We will have to take our off.

I keep this stand on the border between my Great Room and my Dining Room. It perfectly fits the area! I took off a star--it would've been a half star deduction if that were possible--for the sturdiness. I don't worry about the television falling off the stand but the TV seems loose in terms of being level. I made sure all the screws were tightened but it still seems to be unlevel. I love this stand the only things I would change about it is the size of the shelf and I’d make the instructions a little more clear for easier understanding. The metal shelf that attaches at the middle is a little small and it isn’t 100% level. I have a PS4 on it and it hangs over the edge a bit and if I put the controller on top of the console it will slide off onto the floor. The instructions were not as simple as putting it together actually was. The way it’s ordered in the booklet to put it together is a little off but if you go through it a few times it becomes more clear (also with trial and error). I’m sure for some it was very easy to understand but for a low level DIYer like myself it may be a little hard to understand. Other than that it is very sturdy and slim and I love it. This stand is sturdy, sleek, and gorgeous. However, I do highly recommend getting a friend to help put the tv onto the stand itself. I had no help and nearly dropped my tv because I couldn’t see the brackets on the back during the mounting step.
