How to make clear ice- • Buy the cooler, Remove the lid, and wash it • Fill maybe halfway full with water (I use tap water) • Freeze for no more than 24 hours. This will depend some on the temp of your freezer. Mine is around 0°. You want the top to freeze, but the bottom to remain water. If it freezes solid, it will be cloudy. • Take the cooler, flip it upside down. Keep in mind it is water beneath the ice and might gush out around the sides. I usually give it a few taps on the bottom to dislodge it right onto a cutting board. • Cut the ice. I use a bread knife to saw at and cut the ice. You can score it with the bread knife then tap with something to break, or just keep sawing until it gives. Cut off any cloudy bits then cut them into cubes. Cheers and enjoy ... show more

Small…
This cooler is very small. I got it for my fiancé who was doing electrical work at the time, as a lunch box. He didn’t need a big cooler, but I wanted something he could sit on on the job sites. It’s definitely too small for him to sit on lol! Probably too small for me (5’4” female) to comfortably sit on too. Contradictory, it’s also too bulky for how much you can fit in it. I feel I’d be better off just getting him a regular soft-sided, insulated lunch box/bag, and he can sit his butt on the ground 😂 and if you’re looking to travel or camp, it’s too small inside to fit any real amount of food. Maybe ok for taking a few cold drinks to the beach or something ... show more

Check shipping before you order
The cooler is fine exactly what I wanted. It was listed for $17.00. I'm a prime member. Cooler arrived timely. I was , however, charged an additional $ 12.99 for shipping. Have not resolved this issue to date with Amazon. I don't have time for a run around. I have decided to suck it up and eat the additional shipping charge. Good luck. ... show more
