I use the selfie tripod for recording my trail runs using a GoPro. The shaft extension is excellent for getting images / videos of myself with scenery in the background. The unit is just the right weight for long runs. When the GoPro is on it, there is a perfect balance point near the top of the shaft; it is almost like there is no weight in my hand at all. The tripod feature is very stable on rooty and rocky terrain.

I purchased this because I saw nice reviews and when I received mine, I put it to the test. The grip itself is a little wider than I like but the extension is very nice. The weight is adequate. I think the best feature is the tripod. It is very sturdy at whatever height it’s adjusted to.
