The air fuel mix adjustment screw actually is used to control the amount of fuel. • Engine backfires and stalls This may be due to a leak in the pipe on the side of the carburetor connected to the air filter, or the intake and exhaust valves of the engine are not closed properly. • Idle is normal, but when stepping on the gas, it turns off This may be due to the low position of the carburetor float chamber needle valve, resulting in a low fuel level. You can adjust the float fuel level of the carburetor float chamber to see if will solve the problem. • Oil Leak Carburetor during the process of transportation, might causing the needle valve stuck and can not return, resulting in carburetor fuel leakage. You can check whether the needle valve in the carburetor float chamber is stuck, and whether the jet in the carburetor is blocked. If there is no problem with the needle valve and the jet, it may be that the fuel level of the float chamber is too high. You can try to adjust the lower float. • The speed is unstable after installation A leak in the rubber connector that connects the carburetor to the engine can cause this. This can also be caused by wear of the intake and exhaust valves kit, which leads to a large clearance and air leakage. You can check to see if either of the above is the cause of the problem.
