Before I purchased , I couldnt confirm if these Lights were Dimmable. I went to the Questions and Answers secition and found several people asked the same thing. Some people who answered said "NO" . I have them set with a LED Dimmer (Wall Dimmer Switch) and they DO DIM. I just wonder how much damage a wrong answer can make for a product. I almost dont order this item because of the incorrect response from a person who doesnt know what they are talking about. I looked at the stores in my area for a 50' blue rope light and couldn't find any. Ordered from this vendor and received it by the delivery date. Almost sent it back b/c I thought they sent the wrong color but I plugged it in and the lights are a lovely blue. I placed them on my deck railing and they came on tonight. The blue glow is just beautiful! I am in love with these lights. I will keep track of how it wears and write again when I have that information. They are set to light up 8 hrs per day (365 days a year). I'm hoping you won't hear from me for several years. ;-). UPDATE 5-3-20 I have been using these lights every night since November 2019. I bought these to go on my deck after some old rope lights went out. I had been looking for colored ones but thought I’d try these since half the colored ones looked to be some kind of tape worm looking lights. These are actual ROPE lights, so if you’re looking for that you’re in the right place. Quality is great. Now for the downside. They looked great when I put them up, during the day. That night to my surprise I saw they were so bright it looks like daylight on my deck. Even with the blinds closed on my back door you’d swear you were about to be abducted by aliens. For real people will be able to see these from an airplane at 35,000 feet, or even from Venus I suspect. So yes, great lights, but really bright. And although they say warm white, they are white white. ... show more

These lights are super nice and look gorgeous on my balcony. They give such a warm and comforting lighting. They did not come with a remote control but that’s fine. I’ve had them up through some pretty bad storms and they are still holding strong. Highly recommend.

Absolute junk. Spent an hour installing it and when plugged in found bitten one third dead. Received replacement very fast. Took the old one out for return. Unrolled the new one to plug in and test. All lite. Spent another hour installing it and upon plugging in found last ten feet dead. Too much trouble returning the second one. Will live with it. Deeply resent wasted time. ... show more

I have always wanted to make a PEACE SIGN lawn ornament. I connected 2 lengths for a total of 66 ft. The Peace sign is now about 40" in diameter. It is unbelievably bright for only 36 watts. Hardly adds any expense to my electric bill. The blue color casts a nice glow to the front yard. Both my wife and I love how it came out. We live on a short "no outlet" street. It is visible from the intersection which is 400' away. PEACE. My neighbors take down their reindeer in January. This has stayed out in the elements and I see no deterioration of the rope and it is now 10 months later. I have it on a timer so it is on for 4 hrs after dusk. I am thinking of getting a white light rope to replace my florescent lights in my garage. Anything to cut the bill down. 18 watts from 128 watts for the 2 lights. I would have done it sooner but I had bought a box of spare 32 watt tubes. ... show more

the rope light looked like it wasn't blue until i plugged it in. thought they sent the wrong one. it is definitely blue. the clips that come with it are thin plastic and difficult to mount with the tiny nails provided. after looking for different clips on amazon i discovered that 7/8" cup hooks would do the trick. they were easy to screw in to the outdoor ceiling on the patio and hold the rope perfectly! i put them about every 2 feet and that seemed to be enough to hold it straight without sagging. so far so good. would buy again. ... show more

Love the lights and they are easy to install. Need to double the number of plastic clips provided to avoid drooping of the rope lights. Need to put real screws or nails to install clips. The tiny screws provided are a joke. Nobody has a phillips head screwdriver that small, plus they are too short to hold the weight of the lights. Fix those two small glitches and you've got a 5-Star product. ... show more
