First, let me say that the Eco-Tank printers by Epson are made to use larger ink tanks that let you buy even the Epson ink refills at a reasonable price. But even though refills from Epson for the Eco-Tank printers cost much less per ounce of ink than the older changeable ink tanks with print heads on them, competitors can make the ink a lot cheaper than Epson does. The ink works the same, looks the same, and fills the tanks the same. The only noticeable difference is the price. Under federal law, Epson cannot deny you warranty repair on your printer just because you bought a different ink brand, any more than Ford can deny warranty coverage on their engine if you follow the maintenance schedule, even if you use a different brand of motor oil, as long as you can prove you've done the oil change with receipts, etc. So this is a no-brainer. Buy this ink instead of the OEM ink and save a lot of money in the process without regretting the purchase. This kit has two of the large black bottles, which have 140 ml of ink, compared to the smaller bottles of colored ink, which have only 70 ml of ink. This is because you use more black than color, so having more black is a good thing. On my printer, the black ink tank holds a lot more ink than the color tanks do.

Other reviews were good so decided to give this 3rd party ink a try. I did not get extra ink with my purchase so I wanted to have a supply when I need it. Anyone who has an Epson printer knows they don’t do well with other brands of ink so looking forward to using these.

I do a lot of printing and go through ink relatively quick. I can tell no difference between this generic brand over the brand name ink I've used in the past. Highly recommend.

I love the concept of the ecotank printer. Less plastic clutter and longer time for ink refills. That said, I also love saving money too. These refill bottles were simple to use and 1/3 the cost of the OEM ink. Make sure to use the plastic gloves when taking the inner seals off the ink bottles because they are messy and will stain! No worries about printing as many color sheets as I want now!

Carefully following the directions I could not get the black ink to load. Then one time I went to open It and it opened at the base instead. It was then I could see that the bottle was sealed. Of course no ink is going to flow if the bottle is sealed. The directions did not note that the bottles were sealed. I found this to be true for one of the colors as well. At any rate I gave up on trying to use these since trying to remove the seal could end up in a mess. I suppose I could poke it.

The colors don't seem to be as vibrant. But, will do for what I use it for. If you are using this ink for pictures I would get the original.
