I installed it on a Honda Fit. The back plate used four screws into plastic anchors, as per the original. The front plate also used two screws (not bolts), so because the seller of these frames included only FOUR screws, I had to reuse the old screws for the front plate. I absolutely LOVE the bright red finish on these license plate holders/frames. This is my third white car in a row and I didn't want plain chrome frames. These lightweight but sturdy stainless steel frames with what looks like a red enamel finish are just the pop of color I wanted!
