System is Great, but Battlefront is not...
I feel I should state I'm not a PS fanboy - I own / have owned: Atari, 64, Gameboy, Wii, PS2, Nintendo, Xbox and enjoy games from all platforms. I got this as an early Christmas gift and am quite pleased with the PS4 system. It actually went on sale for $299 so was quite a deal. The interface was hard to get use to, I previously had an Xbox 360 that I sold after I found out I could play most of the games on Steam using an Xbox controller; the two are quite different. I personally prefer the app style home screen of the Xbox 360 , but it didn't take long to get around on the PS4. A drawback was the setup - I didn't understand a lot of the questions I was answering in regards to "rest mode" and ended up having more questions - for instance how long does it take to charge the controller so I can have rest mode set to x amount of hours? Do games download while in rest mode? What do the colors mean on the remote? All things I had to Google. For those interested; 2 hours to charge (so I changed rest mode to 2 hours vs. 3.) Yes you can download games in rest mode. Remote colors change for fun (from what I can tell) which makes sense because my Alienware laptop does the same thing when playing dying light. The system came sufficiently packaged and with everything included as expected; controller, usb charging cable, Battlefront DL code etc. I was surprised to find an HDMI cable was included with the system and that the power plug is only 2 prong. I was thrilled to find out it also plays blu-ray discs - I primarily wanted this to play the games I couldn't get on Steam and had previously looked into a blu-ray player, but this took care of that which made the price even more of a steal. Something I didn't appreciate was not getting my free 14 day PS Plus trial. In the booklet and all over the Playstore it said if I signed up through the Playstore I could get the two weeks on top of my purchase, which wasn't the case. With my Xbox 360 it was simple to sign up for my free 30 day trial of Xbox Live. The PS4 may be over complicated in some areas, but I'm still happy with it. The Battlefront game is quite horrible - unless you have PS Plus you're stuck with playing a handful of Missions in solo mode and even with PS Plus the online play gets boring fairly quickly. If I had to do it again I'd get the Uncharted bundle. I have cable internet at around 50mbps so to download the Battlefront game it took around 1-2 hours. If you want your kids to be able to open this and play right away I'd suggest buying an addition game on disc.

Fun times for an old guy
After enjoying a Wii U with my family for the last year, I couldn't help but feel that I was missing out on more...mature games. When I heard that Battlefront was coming out, I figured I could use another console. So far so good. The PS4 itself looks nice, is relatively compact, has a comfortable controller, and an easy UI. Setup was a breeze, and all of the game codes worked just fine. Many people are upset that Battlefront has no campaign yet costs the same as any other new AAA game and future DLC costs more money. Honestly, I'm more surprised at the cost of new indie games that look like they were designed for the NES. I don't have a lot of time to devote to gaming - maybe five hours per week. I enjoy the ability to jump into a multiplayer game like Battlefront for an hour here and there. The gameplay is fun, and the graphics and sound are amazing.

This Bundle Is Great and The Game Is A Blast
I have been using this for years now and its still running as strong as the day I bought it. I literally play this every single day, for several hours and I couldn't be much happier with my purchase. This is the perfect bundle for someone like me. I prefer to have all my games digitally downloaded so receiving the digital download code made me very happy. In the box you have everything you need to get started except for internet. Which is kind of a given. When you open the box you are given the Power Cord, The HDMI Cord, The Controller Charger, The PlayStation Console, The Controller, and as previously mentioned the digital download code for Star Wars Battle Front. The only con I've came across with this console is the storage capacity, which can be changed out with the help of some videos on you tube. I would highly recommend this product it is a lot cheaper then purchasing the console and game separately.

PS4 is a 100% win!
I decided to upgrade the hard drive to 1TB before I downloaded any games in order to prevent future storage issues. It has been a perfect system. The organization of the home screen is better than the Xbox One's home screen. As a person who owns both the PS4 and the Xbox One, i'may offering a perspective that is not based off of youtube videos. The PS4 has extremely fast processing and never freezes on me. Rest mode for the PS4 is handy when I need to use the USB ports while having the system turned off. The built-in capture card is handy, but the quality is a little disappointing. Having Battlefront in this bundle is a real treat. I never knew this before I bought the system, but the controller has a motion sensor offering quick motion based typing instead of using the normal buttons for typing. The PS4 is smaller, lighter, and faster than the Xbox One. No matter what bundle you buy, this system is definitely recommended. Sony killed it in this generation of console and I hope they continue to satisfy us customers in the future as they have with the PS4.

PS4 for the kid in all of us.
ordered it for Christmas...first one was defective, so I sent it back to Amazon...very little hassle, and they quickly sent me a new one. "Battlefront" is a realistic Star Wars game...but it does not come with a game CD....you HAVE to download the free game from the internet onto the system...it literally took 3 days for it to download and install...I talked to a guy, and he said if you have wireless, you may want to plug the PS4 directly into the box...he assured me that the game would have loaded much faster....anyway...the game finally loaded...and my boys, ages 8 and 10 love it, as well as the PS4 itself. I also bought them Minecraft which is their favorite, as well as the Disney Infinity/Star Wars/Avengers starter sets. At first they didn't play with the Infinity too much...it seemed like they were always playing Minecraft or Battlefront...but lately I have noticed they have been playing the Infinity game a lot more. Very satisfied with the purchase...my kids love it, and I hate to admit it, but I do too....especially the Battlefront game...just don't tell my wife.

Refurbished
Very good may be overstating things a bit. Bought the PS4 last week and arrived today which was great. Go to turn it on and get can't past the first screen. After trying every single option in safe mode I went and got my roommate who was an EECS major at UC Berkeley and after two hours still nothing. Downloaded the update through a flashdrive, still nothing. Tried every other thing we could possibly think of, internet connection didn't help, tried about 6 different controllers, every usb cable I could find including two original PS4 cables my roommates had and obviously the one that came with the "bundle". Called Amazon they had no suggestions to resolve the problem and while they can't offer me a replacement they will give me a refund which is fine. Now I'm not really sure seems like my options are to buy a more expensive one which isn't really ideal or to take another gamble with one of these used ones which as I've now seen first hand aren't really as advertised which is extremely disappointing. Part of the reason I decided to commit to paying for Prime is for top quality products and service and I can't say that's been my experience. This has been one of my biggest purchases on here and it was a total disaster. I've always heard people rave about Amazon support so just having to send it back and get a refund is a bummer, I really was excited for the PS4 now I'm stuck having to try to get another one waiting and hoping it will actually work this time. Anyway just take "Very Good" with a grain of salt, having to pay an extra 100 dollars just to ensure you'll have a working product kind of sucks but I guess it's the only way.

Solid console, mixed bag of games
The PS4 is a good system, useful as a blu-ray player, media center, and gaming console. Really, a review isn't going to sway you on the console, you'll know if you want it or not. There's no catches, it's sturdy, exactly what you expect if you've owned a PS3. The games are a different story. There are tons of different bundles for the PS4. This one includes a total of 5 games, all Star Wars related. I'm a Star Wars fan, but even I can admit not all of these games are great. Battlefront: It's the only game of the package originally designed for the PS4, and it shows. The graphics are beautiful. That said, single player is a joke, consisting of a small handful of skirmishes. To get any real play out of it, you'll need PS Plus to play online, which will set you back $50 a year. It's a good value, but something to think about. Personally, II even found the multiplayer mostly lacking, but I suppose it was enjoyable enough. Jedi Starfighter: Originally made for PS2, the graphics hold up OK, but nothing to write home about. The gameplay is fun, fast, and exhilarating. Very enjoyable, and personally I would chose this bundle for this game alone. Bounty Hunter: Also originally for PS2, graphics have held up as well as Starfighter's did. The story is fun, playing as Jango is a blast, very solid game. Racer's Revenge: Pod racing! Many would say this is the best thing to come out of Episode I. Great game. Super Star Wars: Originally for the Super Nintendo, the 2-D graphics take some getting used to. That said, the gameplay is solid, if still Nintendo Hard, even on easy mode. It's a challenge, and can be frustrating, but very fulfilling when you make progress, NB: All 5 games are digital downloads. You'll need to hook the system up to the internet (either wi-fi or wired) to be able to download them. Once downloaded all 4 remakes are totally offline, but battlefront will need internet for multiplayer. Also note that the bundle comes with one controller. For local multiplayer you'll need to purchase another one.

I got this months ago and my family has loved it! I have a good gaming PC, but I wanted something to play my growing collection of PS+ games and a space where I could enjoy a multiplayer community that wouldn't die out after a few months. My 5 year old son loves playing Battlefront, Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare, and Rocket League. My wife enjoys playing Battlefront as well. I've had a blast playing Bloodborne, Destiny, and many other games on the system. The social media features are spot on. It's very easy to save a clip of gameplay, trim it for Twitter, and upload it in minutes. Remote play via the Vita works like a dream. I have my PS4 wired, so I think that helps a great deal, but it's really fun to be able to grind out a few PvE missions in destiny while laying down in bed. It has many great media apps too. The only downside is how often I have to rotate the controllers via the charge cable because it's always getting used.
