Just got back from Paris and Italy this week and can't believe it didn't blow a fuse or die on me! So many reviews on different voltage travel irons really had me scared but this one really was great. Got very hot which i needed for my very course curly hair. Make sure you take a converter ( bought on Amazon too) along with the enclosed converter plug it comes with. You don't have to change the voltage with this one...just plug it in! ... show more

Could have been better constructed — as a travel tool, should have had a mechanism to “lock” the tool close when not in use. A heat-insulated case would also have been useful. But, did work overseas as advertised.

The only bad thing to say about this is I wish the plates were longer! For whatever reason my hair does better with the longer plates.. I like the super hot temp as well. Nice product!

I bought this because it can go up to 500°. It straightened my hair with one pass. It makes me feel like I can maintain my hair/clip in extensions between salon visits.
