I thought it was more like a Tupperware situation but it’s like takeout or deli type of container. They held up nicely in the dishwasher and the lids are definitely tight. I have not tried to freeze something yet. It comes in three different sizes which is great for use I am looking forward to making a big meal that I can put into smaller containers to freeze. I had to dock a star because one of the 32oz containers was damaged. The lip of the container was cracked so it can't seal properly. I'm still satisfied cause 59 out of 69 isn't bad, plus I can still use the damaged container as a cup.
