  • Had to buy it, it's so good.
Format: Paperback
If you want to have goats or sheep, this is a good book to get so you can get ahead on the things that you will need when you finally do have them. It covers shelters, play things, food storage/bins, milking stands, de-horning boxes, things to help you band the baby boys, and then it's got recipes. Recipes for things for the goats and recipes for cheese and soap. This is just your go-to for a thumbnail of what you will want and need for goats. I figured I'd buy a copy for myself so the one from the library could go back and help out someone else. ... show more

This is a great book. Very comprehensive and easy to read. Generalizes goat information, so you might need a breed specific book to go with it.
