Most sheets I buy will barely cover my tall, thick mattress but this one has elastic on corners to hold sheets in place and tall enought to cover all parts of mattress. They are soooooo soft. Used for about 5 years now and still going. I have also bought for my teen grandson and he loves them. These sheets had a slightly funky smell to them upon opening the sealed bag ... a combination of acrid chemicals, mustiness & something kinda like cheese or sweaty feet. Washed them immediately & there's absolutely no trace of that smell remaining! The color (I bought black) held up nicely h no fading. They are very soft & fit our thick mattress well. The flat sheet seems oversized (extra wide) but that's not a problem with our platform style bed since we just tuck it in. These are on the guest bed so they won't be used every day. The biggest pain in the hiney is getting a "fitted" sheet that doesn't fit. These sheets FIT! They are amazing. SOFT, just a bit STRETCHY and DEEP pocket enough to fit my huge king size thick mattress and once it's on, it doesn't budge! I always have to fight with my fitted sheets but this one is PERFECT! It's not scratchy or shiney or hot, it doesn't pill up after multiple washes, it's not too light weight that you can't whip it across your bed and have to keep whipping it to get it to stay across. I'm surprised for the price I paid just how nice these sheets are. I'm getting more and in different colors. Comes with awesome fitted sheet, flat sheet and two large size pillow cases. Prior to this purchase I was using the same set of sheets for several years. Of course, from being washed once a week there was quite a bit of expected wear and tear to them. Despite the great reviews I was definitely hesitant to believe the quality was good at such a low price. But after several weeks of use I can honestly say that I am glad I trusted the positive reviews and made the purchase. The quality of these sheets is exceptional and they are incredibly soft. I am the type of person that gets hot very easily at night, so I have always struggled to find sheets that did not leave me uncomfortable and sweaty. These sheets are very breathable and while not advertised feel to me like a cooling sheet.
