These whitening pens definitely work, but the gel feels stronger than I expected and actually hurt my teeth a bit. If you’re sensitive to strong products, be cautious with the 35% carbamide peroxide formula. That said, I did see a noticeable difference after just one use—probably about two shades lighter. The instructions said something about a tray and light, which these did not come up, so maybe they weren’t the right ones.

First I will start with the pros of this whitening kit, the pens with the brush tip applicator make it incredibly easy to apply to your teeth, ensuring that you can get every visible side of your tooth covered. The gel is on the thicker side and as long as your teeth are clean and slightly dried off it holds to your tooth very well. I usually leave this on for about 5 minutes or whatever the directions say, then after using this one to two times a week for a couple of weeks now I do notice a slight difference but not anything super remarkable. That being said, I don't have any sensitivity to my teeth whatsoever so if that means that I don't get as much of a whitening effect but I don't have to experience pain in my teeth I'm all for it! I will stick to the regimen and hopefully I will see more of a difference after a few more weeks of use. I should also note that the gel does not have that bad of a flavor, mostly just a subtle mint flavor. If you are looking to maybe just whiten a shade to two shades wider than these are definitely for you
