First, full disclosure: I used to be an intermediate level athlete that never lettered and wore a cool jacket like in Grease. The only thing I could think about upon picking up my package at the mailbox was the 1 star review from a woman who said her husband refused to wear the shorts because they are made of the same material of ladies nightwear LOL I think there must have been a breakdown of communication on that one given that it says what the material is. Now, this is all I could think of when I'm unwrapping it. I put them on WITH the judging eye, and I'm like...ladies wear....not ladies wear, ladies wear...not ladies wear? ha They are thin. So, it could play to your hand or not play to your hand. As I am judging this, I walk outside as my wife is bringing the groceries in and I say, "whaddya think?" To which she chuckles and taps the Johnson with her forefinger LOL I guess that kind of puts things in perspective. I personally feel fine wearing them out in public. I do.... Ok, I just asked the wife again, "So, do you like them?" And she said, "yes" while making a squeezing motion with her hand. So, obviously the "package" is what comes to her mind. Back on track. Maybe it's not the best shorts to wear to a gathering or a pool party. However, if you're a single dude and you want to let the "special lady" know what's up when the time is right, and you're freeballin, this is definitely the shorts you want when you're going to pitch that tent. Otherwise, I'd advise wearing the tighties. Since I just bought them to wear under my overalls while working outside and for nighttime, they are PERFECT. Size: 6 feet Weight: 220. Overall, not as in shape as I used to be. A bit of a belly, but not the standard model of obesity you see today. I thought since I'm seeking to lose weight, I would go with the large. Sitting here, I can feel the tightness a little at the waist. If I had to do it again, I probably would have just ordered XL because they are elastic banded at the waist with a drawstring.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have so many different pair of basketball shorts. My favorite are the ones that doesn't go below the knees by much and can stay around the waist when I have my cell phone in my pocket without hanging out and required being tied. These do just that for about 5 a piece which is a really good deal. They're not see thru as some of the other reviews have mentioned, and my S24 Ultra with a wallet case sits inside the pocket with about an inch and a half to spare. I'm 5'8 with a 33" waist and purchased the Large for an idea.

5 stars because, for the price, these are very nice. I was expecting junk and a return but no. The pockets are big enough for my iPhone 15. I use them for exercise and it turns out they are great for summertime pajama bottoms. Comfy. I’m an old dude used to cargo shorts which are very useful and practical. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked these shorts because it was pretty cheap for a five pack. Very comfortable and a very generous fit for 2x. I think these are more like 3x. Anyway. The shorts look and feel fine, but I have a pair on right now and I haven't had them on but a few hours and I've already noticed a hole in the pocket. The right pocket. It's going to be kind of hard to remember that with this particular pair. I would hope that the seller would reach out and exchange for another pair, I just have to be cautious with these. I hope it doesn't happen with the other ones. I'm not about to send the whole pack back because a hole is in one of the pockets. I think it's kind of messed up to be honest, but I'll leave it alone and I'll have a good summer with some good shorts for taking walks. I'll just have to wear a fanny pack just in case. Be aware.
