This is a very stout and very heavy-duty lock. I had been looking for a lock to use on my fairly new one trip cargo container. My container had the double end door latch box welded on were the doors meet to enclose the lock from the elements and thieves. It has to be a unique shaped lock to fit in the tight area and have the pin release out the same side as the key. This fit the bill perfectly. One thing I did was to spray lock lube on the moving parts of the lock to keep it free. I was so impressed with this lock that I ordered a second one to have it on hand. ... show more

Works well for my container. It fits the opening at the bottom of the door. Fairly cheap and it does the job. I dont know how it will perform if a thief tries to break it but I think it would be very difficult because they will not be able to access the bolt itself. Would recommend!

Good for the price while it worked. Purchased last august and fell apart last November. Amazon replaced but the new one has come apart also this March. I use it on a tool container and use it once a day. The pin that locks the pushrod has come out. Once that happens, all the guts fall out.
