The screen is small, but I can’t complain ab the size they put on there when I bought it. I had to turn off the CarPlay, which the settings are amazing and easy to do in. The CarPlay would sometimes just not connect, so keeping the car on BT, and manually swapping over for long drive GPS needs has worked Everytime. I love it other than those flaws, make sure to press the power cord ALL the way in and give it a second love tap. It’ll sometimes cause the unit to just shut off if not seated fully flush. So longer connecters and software updates would make this a perfect unit.

Amazing value for the money! The screen size is perfect for 1.5 din Blazer/Jimmy/S10/Sonoma. Touch screen doesn't have much delay. Sound quality is decent with JVC speakers. Not a lot of bass but is nice and clear. Android Auto is nice. Wasn't impressed with the mount for the reverse camera. How I needed to mount it the camera was upside down. Couldn't rotate the mount properly. Had to rig up my own with an L bracket and a zip tie. That said the camera quality is 6-7/10. Acceptable.

I feel bad complaining about this $50 radio but here's the thing; I can look beyond the build quality and other minor things but the deal breaker is that the radio freezes when navigating for more than 30 minutes. Everything works great for 30 mins, but then map navigation starts to stutter and slow. This was true for both Apple and Android. It's as if the unit gets hot or memory buffer overfills and that makes your location on the map be about 30 seconds behind the actual and not smooth in movement. Any turn instruction is then delayed, making it useless. Unplug/plug in the phone and you get another 15 mins before it starts to fail again. Too bad, and not noticeable until you navigate on a lengthy drive.

Great bang for your buck here. I do miss not having AM radio but the backup camera is nice. Time will tell if it lasts, sure seems like a lot of tech for the money.
