Really, really nice for the price. I paid $169 plus tax. Shipped in a very safe cardboard box with foam an aluminum reinforcements. Definitely something a thief could get into if they had some time/not worried about noise, but that’s probably apparent from the page. Great for keeping kids out. Decent amount of room. Sorta small for rifles with tall optics and long mags, but you fit several. My only gripe is with the keypad. Hard to get it to light up to start entering your code sometimes, but for the price, I think it’s acceptable assuming the locking mechanism continues to work. Probably opened and closed it 50-100 times in past few weeks and seems to be doing fine. The key backup is really nice to have and should work as long as the locking mechanism itself doesn’t fail altogether. Really nice for the money.

This is perfect for what I needed. I live in an apt and didn’t feel good about my guns being easily accessible. This is a good deterrent. I used lag bolts to secure it to the studs. I had to build a platform so it could sit flush against wall and avoid the baseboard. I secured the frame to the baseboard as well. It will be very difficult to get out but not impossible. Overall it’s easy to use and good quality for the price.

I don’t really want to give the safe a horrible review because it is OK, but it’s not what’s advertised. The description said ..”5-8 Fireproof Rifle Gun Safe”.. (1st) There’s only slots inside for 5 rifles. There’s definitely not enough room for 8 rifles unless they’re just thrown in. (2nd) The safe is only fireproof in the same way any metal box is fireproof. There is no additional insulation (other than a thin felt lining) added to increase the contents survivability in the event of a fire. If you’re looking for a simple metal locker/safe to keep kids and otherwise honest adults away from your firearms, it’s fine but there are probably less expensive options. (&. 3rd) though this one is less important, it took me probably 20 minutes to figure out the initial set up instructions to program the Keypad. Not a dealbreaker, but it wasn’t the clearest setup instructions.

Besides having a few issues upon delivery (internal issues, was able to self correct) this is a quality built safe. The biometric fingerprint entry is fun, but wish it was better at sensing my recorded fingerprint even through i had recorded the same finger maybe 6-7 times just to try to get all the angles of the finger. Regardless of the issues, the customer support is willing and ready to help.

The gun cabinet comes with 2 set of keys and a nice backup battery box if you're batteries dies and you can't find the keys. I would have gotten it a 5 star if you could use the top shelf with long rifles. But I knew that before I bought it. Fits nicely in a spare closet. It also comes with the hardware to attach to a wall and floor fo security.

Great safe, when open door bottom bolt sticks and can't lock door. Rather than return I just glued some included Styrofoam where the bolt pulls back too far. Works great and easy fix.
