Not having to pump anything is a huge upgrade! The pressure is strong enough for most jobs, spraying weeds or watering plants, different nozzles included too. comfortable straps, but it does get heavy when it’s full, Build quality feels solid, and the tank doesn’t leak. Battery lasts a good while

Pretty cool backpack sprayer. It sure beats pumping the old style ones. Plus it has a 5 gallon tank so i dont have to mix multiple tanks for my yard. All and all its a pretty good unit.

The short version: this sprayer functions, which is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1. But pretty much every other aspect of it tells the story of a product where costs were shaved at the expense of quality in ways that are obvious the moment you take it out of the box. Start with the straps. The instructions for attaching them are unclear, and even once you figure it out, they are barely long enough to fit a larger person. I am a bigger guy and I have trouble with sizing from time to time, so I take that into account, but this felt like the strap length was trimmed to save fractions of a penny at the cost of fitting a significant portion of potential users. An extra two or three inches of strap material would have cost almost nothing and opened this up to nearly anyone. The padding on the straps is also thin and already breaking down after just a few uses. At this point I mostly just carry it by the handle. Less convenient for longer applications, but at least I do not have to worry about it sliding off my back. The plastic is another concern. It feels brittle, and I genuinely worry about it cracking before I get even one full season out of it. It has not broken yet, but I treat it carefully to try to get my money's worth before it does. That is not a reassuring feeling for a product in this price range. The positives: the eight nozzle heads are genuinely useful and easy to swap between, and the extendable wand has been leak free so far. Those are real bright spots. I will keep using this until it gives out, but I would not buy it again and I would recommend spending a little more on an established brand with better build quality. At this price, the compromises are too significant to overlook.

This is a nicely made and very good performing backpack style sprayer. It can be used for watering or spraying many liquid-based, water-soluble products. There's a good assortment of spray head accessories included, some more suitable for watering plants and others, like the 3-nozzle brass head I used for my lawn, good for herbicides and more. The listing says, "100 PSI", that would be a lot of pressure for a sprayer of this type. I suspected this may be a bit of a stretch, so I checked pressure with a known accurate gauge. My test measured output at close to 70 PSI (pictured). 70 psi is more than adequate to deliver the great spray performance I experienced. Build quality and convenience are top-notch as well. No more side handle to pump up and down - this thing is just great! While this is designed as a backpack sprayer, fully loaded to the brim with fluid it weighs close to 50 pounds, a bit much for my old back. Since there's no manual pump lever to work that requires the sprayer to be carried on the back in order to pump that handle, a hand truck or a small wagon will do just fine to take the bulk of the load and move it effortlessly . . . and did I mention EASY! I'm using a hand truck (pictured), just wheel it along and spray as you go! There are two options for use. The rocker switch chooses full pressure when the wand valve is opened, or it allows choosing a lower pressure with the knob control while still turning on and off with the wand valve lever. This might be handy for watering delicate plants etc. The battery compartment is on the lower right bottom of the side that goes toward the back when worn. There's a latch tab at the top center of a little door you pull down to access the battery. The foam backing pad is in the way of this latch, so I cut a "half-moon" notch out of the foam, so the tab is convenient to reach for battery access. (Note that the battery can be charged in place with the included charger or removed for charging on a Makita compatible charger.) One section in the instruction booklet under "Security" gave me a chuckle (pictured),- I do plan to comply with this particular recommendation as I prefer not to startle neighbors. Seriously, when spraying herbicide or insecticide it's important wear protective equipment, spray mask etc. and clean up well. Highly recommend - saved me a lot of work today!
