  • Sturdy and comfortable
Size: Small/Medium Color: Ranger Green
This pack is extremely well built! Took a beating during my last training. The material and stitching held like a champ. The internal frame keeps the pack nice and rigid. The shoulder straps and waist belt were very comfortable. The adjustment straps held with no slippage. The buckles held up really well, too. They didn't bend or flex under a 50lb load that I could tell. The amount of molle webbing on here allows for expanded and modular storage. My only complaints are that there are not more organizational pockets in the admin section, and the 3 mag pouches aren't elastic. They won't fit my sr25 pattern mags. Aside from those two things, if those aren't a concern, this pack should serve you very well. ... show more

  • This is an amazing bag
Size: Large-X-Large Color: Ranger Green
I got the XL model that comes with larger belt, possibly longer shoulder straps too. And it's amazing, I find it difficult to find bags that fit me well being 6'6" that can also carry a lot of weight. When I'm training I like to carry 150lbs sometimes more as I will run by somewhere to get water and electrolytes (3L water 1L Gatorade) and this bag handles its. With all the straps wide open it's very easy to get into.but it was hard to pull them tight and move the bad around to get it to sit well. As well as moving the bad around to sit comfortably on my hips to pull the weight off of my shoulders. Some grab loops fixed that and makes my bag a little more mine. The other negative is the chest strap is thin and is only held on by open looped plastic hooks. I replaced it with a couple of molly stripes and a better strap which helps hold the shoulder straps where they belong. I do want to add one more strap on the back to help tighten up the load and help keep things from shifting. But these are all really easy things I can do. Most will never put 100pounds in there bag, but its nice to know that it's strong enough to handle more than that. And that it is comfortable when you get it sitting right on your back. ... show more

  • Tactical bugout bag, or great for backpacking!
Size: Large-X-Large Color: Black
It was a sweet surprise that the Mossburg fit perfectly in a side slot, and the shoulder straps hold 12 guage rounds. Pretty useless, but cool. This seems like a very well build backpack so far. I'd say its well worth the money spent.

  • Amazing bug out bag
Size: Large-X-Large Color: Ranger Green
So I've had this now for a little while and I can definitely definitely say it's amazing it has tons and tons of room not to mention all of the Molly webbing I have so many different things connected to my bag it has a pouch for water bladder for food storage for everything I like the Molly webbing on the front straps as well and on the side straps truly if I could go back and buy another bag it might be a Gregory simply because I just found it about them recently because they're more waterproof specifically however this bag definitely still does exactly what it's intended to do not to mention you can continuously attach other bags and gear to it if you just want it to be a good backpack for hiking camping or whatever absolutely.. and everything that the 511 store sells can fit on this bag pretty much A lot of their clips are specifically made for this type of Molly webbing and they usually sell extra bag pouches that are the exact same color which is nice ... show more

  • Pretty awesome backpack.
Size: Large-X-Large Color: Ranger Green
The only thing I could wish for is aluminum buckles and 1000D cordura over the entire bag. (@ 5.11 Tactical, you guys should make a Rush100 Elite) I still gave it 5 stars. Pretty awesome bag.

  • No replacement belt is available for this pack
Size: Large-X-Large Color: Black
I give the Rush100 five stars for comfort and adjustability. I've never worn a more comfortable large pack in the 30-some years I've been camping and backpacking. I give its overall size, volume, accessibility, etc. three stars because it is a bit small for my needs. (I was expecting to be able to pack more into a 60L pack). Nothing about it sets it apart from any other pack of similar quality, size, and design, although I found the "locking quick release buckles” to be a royal pain in the neck. I replaced them with regular buckles after my first trip. The hip belt has lots of room for gear, bags, tools, etc., and it is easily detachable. It's very convenient for me to be able to detach the belt from the pack and wear it with suspenders as a sort of tool belt while I work on trail maintenance, shelter building, trap setting, fishing, etc. I like the belt so much that I thought I’d buy a couple more and build them out for different types of trips so I don’t have to spend as much time reconfiguring my load out between trips. After a bunch of emails back and forth with 5.11 customer support, I was finally told that I can’t get another belt. They pointed me to the Rush belt kit, which I don’t think is compatible with the Rush100, and even if it can be made to work, it isn’t what I need. I need a full belt, just like the one that came with the pack. But apparently, I can’t get one. If I hadn’t exceeded my Amazon return window, I’d return the pack to 5.11 because it will be useless to me if the hip belt gets lost or heavily damaged (and I can’t get a replacement). I’ve already talked four friends out of buying this pack due to a lack of replacement parts. It’s a shame, because the pack is very good, otherwise. ... show more
