  • Great Tactical and Everyday Belt
Color: Black Size: Medium
The belt overall is sturdy and well made and easy to adjust and does not get loose from wear. A phone belt clip will not fit on the belt and I have an Otter Box for a Note 9. I've worn this belt every day with different types of pants from Wranglers, 5.11, and Target dress slacks. They are relatively large as a everyday belt to wear in comparison to a "normal" belt. Some pant belt loops will not accommodate this belt all the time so be weary about that. For the ones I listed, they fit perfectly. The biggest Achilles Heel of this belt is the front latch. It has a tendency to jab you in the gut if you're prone, kneeling forward, or on your belly. Pros: It works wonderfully and stays connected and locked in at all times. Easy to get off as well. It is super convenient to wear a belt like this than any other belt I've ever owned. Overall, besides that small shortcoming, I love the belt. I rather pay $100 for this belt than any name brand belt of the same price. January 26, 2020: Belt is holding up great, solid fit still. Nothing frayed or broken. Considering I work in a construction environment I am completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this product. I have a 34 waist pant size and I tried the large in a 5.11 store at Jacksonville and it was too large for me. Medium is a perfect fit. Just keep that in mind because the size recommendation was a large for me. ... show more

  • This is a rugged and good belt
Color: Black Size: Large
Im a size 34-35 waist and i got the large belt: good fit, its almost too big, but it isnt too big. Hell yes, this belt is awesome. I'm using this belt for hiking, traversing and swimming through rivers, to full on sprints on advanced trails and hikes. I don't own a holster or a pistol, but I would assume this belt would be able carry the weight of a pistol and holster very comfortably. I could see myself attaching bear mace or a machete on this, for defense against mountain lions when i'm alone on my Hikes. ... show more

  • Great belt that can be used as everyday belt or Duty belt
I love this belt! I have a 38" waist and most belts I'd tried before wouldn't hold my pants up without frequent tightening. With this belt, once set it's always the correct tightness. The only issue I originally had was with sizing. I first bought a Large, and it would fit but barely--I had to loosen the velcro portion the entire way. So I returned it and ordered an XL and it fits perfectly with the Velcro in its original position. So if I get thinner or fatter I should still be able to wear it :) I don't get the people complaining about belt loop problems. This is a heavy duty belt and compared to other belts with Cobra buckles, putting this on is a breeze. It takes me about 10 - 12 seconds to put on this belt through 5.11 Stryke pants. I also have a 1.75" 5.11 TDU belt, and it takes less time to loop through but not much difference once adjusting the tightness is accounted for. Plus, with this belt, if I need to use the restroom, change pants, etc., it takes about 1 second and I'm ready to go. The advantages far outweigh the downside of a few more seconds to put it on. I can even get this belt through most normal belt loops--jeans and whatnot. It does take a little longer (2 - 3 times as long depending on the pants) with those but honestly you should not be buying this to wear with jeans (though you can wear it with most jeans). The durability of this belt is also superb. I have had mine since 2013 and other than a little color fading on the buckle tabs it is still perfect. No fraying or anything, and still stiff enough to attach things. My only complaint is the tabs on the female portion of the Cobra buckle are a bit pointy, and for those of us who are a little on the heavy side, they can poke you when leaning forward. However, this is an issue with all Cobra buckles, and most of the time (99%) I do not notice the pointy tabs. I have yet to need to use the rigger's loop. It would be nice if 5.11 made two versions of this belt--one with and one without. It doesn't bother me though and in an emergency it's nice to know it's there. One more thing--I've seen some reviewers say this belt has to be threaded to the right (clockwise) instead of the traditional right-handed way (counterclockwise). Personally I have not noticed any difference either way, except where the rigger's loop is positioned. Either way is comfortable for me. This is an expensive belt for sure, but it's quality and has lasted me three years of daily use, and I have no doubt it will last many more. ... show more

  • This belt is a beast!
Color: Black Size: X-Large
I love the buckle. It’s almost like a seatbelt. Very cool

  • I Love this belt
Color: Black Size: Large
I carry a radio at work and this belt handles like a champ. I have worn it for a couple years and it is holding up well. The exposed loop velcro is getting pills and balls on it, but they are easily trimmed off if it bothers you. While NOT suitable for actual rappelling, it is the easiest belt to undo and do up again. It does have a specific direction for feeding through belt loops or it will not be comfortable (insert to the right side first with male end). It is expensive, but worth it if you need a beefy belt. ... show more

  • The sizing method sucks!
Color: Kangaroo Size: XXX-Large
these feel like good quality belts, but the sizing method really sucks. I bought one that was too big and then I bought one that was too small and that’s because there is no in between because there’s sizing method really needs improving. you’d figure for the price of $115 that they would have a sizing method that would accommodate every customer. ... show more

  • Reliable EDC belt
Color: Sandstone Size: Small
I am about 28"W and the Small fits me fine. Just set the velcro to fit your waist. Tough and durable. Take into account the fact that the nylon is thick and hard, would not recommend for those who prefer a softer belt. The belt material is tough and durable, and most of all the belt buckle makes it simple to use: adjust the velcro once when you buy the belt and that's it. No more belt adjusting. Just one click and belt comes on or off. My only gripe is the nylon loop on the end of the belt. I use it to connect my gear to it but the loop is extremely tough and makes it difficult to weave the belt through the pant's belt loops (still possible with 5.11 Stryke pants though). ... show more
