I've had this bag for around two months now and I'm very, very happy with it at this stage! I purchased it to replace a Maxpedition Falcon 2 that I literally used just about every day for about 7 years. The shoulder strap padding had kind of collapsed but after pushing it to it's limits over and over and over again, it had held up well. It just didn't have much in the way of organization so I was looking to upgrade there and boy did this work out nicely. The F2 was pretty much just a bag. A REALLY reliable bag, but just a bag. Honestly when I got the Rush 24 out of it's box, I was almost put off in a sense by how much there is as far as options for organizing, for no rational reason other than I figured it must be a gimmic. It REALLY isn't though. Everything on this bag is SERIOUSLY well thought out. There's just the right amount of compartmentalized storage for small items where they stay well protected and well organized and then the main storage compartment will hold everything else really nicely. I love that several of the pockets are fleece lined, so relatively fragile items remain well protected. Inside of the pockets and compartments though, there seem to be more and more of the same as you dig thorough the bag. It's so well thought out and it seems like wherever there was a place to add more, they just went ahead and did it. The MOLLE webbing on the exterior of the bag is important to me and it's got every bit as much of it as my previous pack had, so the bag can be configured for whatever you want to use it for. The one minor thing I think they could have done to improve the pack is to add more options for compression straps. I'm not sure why there's just the one set up near the top of the bag, but it could really be improved with the addition of a second set of straps lower on the bag. It's truly not a big deal, but when space is a big deal and the size of the bag is a concern, it would be nice to have more effective compression. The concealed carry pocket is very nice as well and would never be noticed by anyone who doesn't own the bag themselves. I actually didn't even notice it was there until the second day I had the bag. it's well lined though and the velcro it closes with is ideal for quick access while remaining a discreet segment of the pack. It's also a large enough pocket that it would be useful for many different things if you never carry. It's going to take years of abusing this pack to really say how well it performs long term, but two months in, I couldn't be happier with the purchase. ... show more

New uniform package and new accessory compliance led me to search for a new bag I can pack for the day's activities and support minimal electronics needs. This bag does just that. Looking to add a water bottle accessory to it, but otherwise was a good size and is comfortable.

So far it is a good product. However, I do think that the 37liter internal size is a little bit exaggerated, maybe on paper it holds 37liters but in reality, due to the design I think the internal usable space is somewhat smaller. All in all a good backpack with a sturdy design and sewing.

This bag is not so big looking on my back but huge on the inside. Carries a ton and surprisingly light weight. Mine is still new but I can't wait to get that weathered look after a few years. 5 Stars

    • The Rush 24 is the right size. Unless you're Ultra Minimal, the 12 was too small.

This pack fits well and carries the weight well. Very sturdy, we'll see how the years treat it. But this pack held the right amount of stuff for me. The Rush12 was just too small. I'm not an ultra minimalist.

I always carry a messenger bag, I have one from 5.11 and love the various pockets it offers. But - sick of it slipping off my shoulder, so thought for this next trip I'd try a backpack (and sling it over one shoulder so I don't look like a boy-scout). Did my due diligence - this pack comes in an even bigger size. After many reviews and YouTube videos it became apparent that the extra large size was meant for lumberjacks and maybe Bigfoot. This has a 37 liter capacity - so man, that's big enough! It arrived and indeed is 5.11 quality. Downsides for me include: 1. Thing is actually pretty heavy. I carried a leather pack for awhile, and this is similar - it's got some heft empty. 2. I don't care how they measure the bag, and I'm sure the liter capacity is correct, but it just isn't that big when you pack it. I just travel on planes and need it to fit overhead or under a seat - so it's not like I'm carrying tents and camp-stoves - just laptop, electronic gadgets I probs don't need, and typical travel stuff. Was really surprised how little it holds. So, well made - but still on the hunt for a more perfect bag. Not going to return it, as I'm overseas - and can always use a smaller bag for day trips. ... show more
