The safe itself is NOT fireproof. So, calling it one is false. A fireproof safe should be able to hold the entire contents of the safe and not allow it to burn for a set amount of time. The safe itself for the money I am rating 5 stars and not discounting the review as I think reviewing the quality of the product is what is important. If you are looking for a safe to keep extremely high value items in, look elsewhere. This safe will not hold up to a burglar for more than 30 minutes. It is simply not strong enough and does not have thick enough metal to withstand a serious burglar. I received my first one and it was already dented, bent and damaged from shipping so if it can't handle that, it is not going to last long from a break-in. Think if it as a large hotel safe that you keep items in to secure them from casual theft by someone that is in your home that might otherwise be tempted to walk away with an item. It's better than stuffing it in the back of your underwear drawer hoping someone does not find it. Again, for the cost, it is a good value to be able to lock up casual items in a reasonably secure place. I did consider if I am not doing a burglar a favor by putting everything in one spot so again if you have something that is just not replaceable spend the money for a serious solution. Otherwise, it's a decent lockbox that I am happy with because I knew what I was in for before going into the purchase.

I recently purchased the 5.0 Cubic Large Home Safe and I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice. The safe is incredibly spacious — perfect for storing important documents, money, jewelry, and other valuables. I love that it’s both fireproof and waterproof, which gives me extra peace of mind in case of an emergency. The digital combination lock is easy to program and use, and the alarm system is a great added layer of security. It even comes with a removable shelf, which makes organizing items inside much easier. It feels very solid and well-constructed — definitely not something that could be easily tampered with. I purchased this safe because I needed one that was larger than the safe I already owned. I appreciate the features and functionality of this safe, including the "USB C" battery pack that is included. This allows you to power the digital keypad and enter your code to open the safe, in the event the batteries inside the safe had go dead. Also, two keys are included to open the safe in an emergency. Another item that is included with the safe is a fireproof pouch to help protect important documents in the event of a fire. Hardware is included for bolting the safe to the floor or wall. The safe is made of good quality steel. The safe meets my intended purpose and based on price and functionality, I recommend this safe.

I ordered this safe as a business safe for my backup tapes. It is sturdy and well packed. It came with easy instructions and the quality of the safe was better than expected. It is a perfect size for what I need it for. I would recommend this safe.

I have felt extremely frustrated with this purchase to the point where I have been speechless about it for a few days, feeling defeated. So im finally going to write about it. So my amazon delivery guy showed up with this item and brought it right to my door effortlessly despite the weight. The amazon box had no damage. I have been prepared to get a safe that was going to be too heavy for me to lift so I used my furniture dolly to roll it down my whole into my office. Everything went perfectly good unboxing, right in the spot I needed, i quickly put four AA batteries in keypad and tried to continue with the directions but the keypad just wouldn't light up or make any sound at all. I took the batteries out to make sure I put them in right. They were in correct and still nothing working. I actually had to pay to have DoorDash Bring me a whole new box of batteries just incase. (I don't drive right now) but even another new box of batteries did not work in this keypad.. BUT it wasnt until I walked back over to the safe this second time that I noticed the back end/corner was dented in. Almost looks like the safe was used before, returned, and resold.. otherwise damaged in factory?! I was pretty upset after a couple hours of Trying to figure out batteries only to find out this safe was now, REALLLLY, absolutely not going to suffice for anyones, valuables, money etc. So I started to look into the process of how to get my money back so I can purchase from a different company after this entire experience. Well to do an amazon return, I'd have to return the product to get my money back right? So that's another dilemma for me, as I live alone, recently had surgery, That's why I can't drive right now (work from home). And I also have no family where I recently purchased my home.. have not made a friend yet in my new town much less a man friend to help load this up, box it back up to start a return, then I remember. I "box cutted" the whole thing in pieces off of the safe! so can't drive, no one to help lift/return it, no box to put it in, no way to use it even with the unacceptable damage. NO WAY TO GET MY MONEY BACK TO PURCHASE A NEW SAFE it seems. One of the top three reasons I needed it to begin with was because my insurance company has helped with a personal assistant(medical help) who will be in my home 7 days a week and I will need a safe FOR obvious reasons ASAP. Now, this safe I purchased, is sitting back on my furniture Dolly unusable. I started the return process but won't be able to send the broken one back so I won't be receiving my money back so that's a dude. I don't see anywhere in the return process to explain any of this or get ahold of this company. I don't know what to do but im more than unsatisfied, im defeated. After all these years, this is only the second time I have had to leave a one star Review on an amazon purchase.
