I had bought a rug liner to put underneath to absorb pet and drink accidents, but decided it would make a thick "step" I'd be tripping on all of the time and canceled it. I'm glad I did because I spilled a drink on the rug and because the threads are polyester, the flavored water just sat there. The bottom isn't exactly water proof, but you can get a paper towel and absorb most of it within a few minutes. The only real complaint is that the edges do like to lift up showing the white underside because the coffee table can scoot around and pulls the rug inward. So, first impression- I’ve murdered Grover and he’s now my rug. Second impression- my cat is gonna love it. Third impression- it was $20 and should last for at least a couple months until I find a nicer one. Honestly- for what it is price wise- it’s really not that bad. Is it high quality- no. Will it hold up for years and years- probably not. Maybe 6 months. But it does look good, it does protect my floor, and it feels pretty good on the toes. ... show more

I bought this to add some insulation to my FL room. I bought it "amazon used" so was a great deal for a 6x9 $17. -It has bathmat rubber dots on it -the color is vibrant and fun -it is quite lightweight (the entire rug was vacuum packed into the size of a beach towel!) -it doesn't lay flat right away (due to it's lack of weight) I'm happy with the fun of it all, and super discount.
