The Neloodony 5x8 Area Rug arrives vacuum packed and in a much smaller package than I expected. Immediately after opening it the off gassing smell was overwhelming. I had to put the rug outside for several days to release the smell. The rug fibers are super soft like flokati fake fur. The padding is soft like memory foam. It's thin but quite comfortable if you spend any time on the floor sitting or kneeling. The back has gripper dots but this rug slides on a hard surface so it requires a rug pad to keep it from shifting. Small spills clean up pretty easy with soap and water and it dries fast and fluffs right back to normal. Vacuuming is no problem with very little fiber shedding. I ordered the white and the fur is a nice creamy white- not stark. There is a visible edge seam all the way around the rug that is stark white that makes it look a little low end. It is also low density so you can see the base mat between the fur strands. It’s really soft and a fine choice for a kids room or other secondary area but I would not put it in a main living room. ... show more

I ordered this and purchased to additional ones to cover the horrendous stains. My mother-in-law was delighted! She loved them and said they felt so soft and luxurious. The rug is so cute and soft. I love the color. But I was a bit disappointed when I received the rug. I definitely didn't expect to get it in the super thin package.. As soon I touched the rug, it was more like a thicker blanket, not a rug. But I think, it's a good price for the rug. In my opinion, it's a great rug for a kid's room.
