    • Non-conductive micro screwdrivers for fine electronics jobs!
These were just the right tools for the job, when I had to make a speed adjustment on an older cassette tape deck and I didn't want to risk shorting anything or getting shocked by using a metal micro-screwdriver. The ceramic tips are just the thing, at just the right price!

These are fairly decent for my usage. That is for non-conductive and smaller screws (etc.) on electronics. If you're ever worried about using a metal screwdriver on electronics (i.e., during repair or fabrication), these are not bad. I'm only giving these 3 stars because, while they fit the above use, the ceramic tips are not particularly well formed. They are kind of rounded, and the Phillips head doesn't match most of the screws of that size that I use. Also, the ceramic rods are not mounted straight into the plastic handle on a couple of them. That's not a huge deal but it does matter sometimes and is a clear lack of quality. ... show more

    • These things are *fantastic* for those applications where a metal tweaker will affect adjustments!
So far these are quite durable & well made! The circuit I needed these for is 'a little sensitive' if you use a standard screwdriver & you wind up chasing things a little, which unnecessarily eats up time. Not so much anymore: these do a fine job of not interfering with the circuit

There are specific situations that would call for a plastic screwdriver. This set has been used in adjusting the value to variable resistors during tuning of current flow in elctronic circuits. Using a typical metal screwdriver can pose a hazard should the metal screwdriver be inadvertently dropped and thus, create a potential short in the circuit. This set of plastic screwdrivers solves that dilemma. These are made strong enough to apply a decent amount of torque, so they are not fragile in use.
