We are making the switch from plastic to glass and these are perfect food storage and leftover glass containers. The lids fit as you would expect and easy to close (I have not turned one upside down with leftover soup to see if they are leak proof so I'll take their word on it). 8 cups is ample for my husband and I to store lettuce, vegetables and whatever else we may have. These work well for me. They are what I needed. Nice size. Great from freezer to microwave even though I put them in the refrigerator overnight due to their size if completely frozen could take time to defrost. I have read that some have trouble getting the lids to snap closed and they are right. I seem to be able to close the two end tabs with no trouble but the two side tabs like to give you a run for your money but they do eventually close. I use them a lot with only two tabs closed and the seal seems to be tight. Was going to remove a star because of the tabs, but I didn't because I can get all four to close if needed. ... show more

The kids fit securely and the borosilicate (same composition as Pyrex) glass is tough and accurately molded. I also like the idea that they take on 100% of the support of the children they sponsor in two orphanages. Nice. The glassware is well packed.

Container is beautiful and spacious but lid is difficult to put on and shipping tends to not package them well enough to not get chips or full on breaks. In general do love them but have had them break in shipping three times on multiple occasions

The lid does not sit properly and it doesn’t close. The snaps were hard to close to begin with, and after two months, they pop open immediately after trying to seal it shut.
