First off - the bad: one of the batteries was completely dead and will not charge. We tried 2 DeWalt chargers and a generic - no joy. However, I give 5 stars because the company refunded the cost of the battery without any fuss or complaint. And the other 3 batteries work perfectly with my off brand tiller and my DeWalt tools. Actually these batteries (after 2 weeks of use) are providing more use per charge than my year-old name brand batteries. Not apples to apples, I know, but I am pleasantly surprised by the capabilities. For $20 per battery I just don’t think you will be disappointed.

TD;DR version: These are decent backup batteries, but do not expect the performance to be equal to that of Dewalt's own offerings. The batteries last well, though I would compare them to a 5A Dewalt rather than a 6A battery. They do, however, overheat faster than Dewalt's batteries when placed under heavy and continuous load. I used both a Dewalt 5A and these batteries to cut down some old picket fencing (6'x8' pieces) which was 25+ years old and was still wet from being in the rain for a few days. I was using a Dewalt Atomic 4 1/2" circular saw to cut this old fencing into 2x3' chunks to better transport it to the dump. The Dewalt 5A battery was able to cut more than 3 pieces down to size before needing to be swapped out. These batteries, however, overheated after only two pieces each, and needed to be swapped out to be given a 15 minute cooldown. Note that tearing down old pressure treated fencing is relatively hard work for a smaller circular saw, and I chose that tool largely to test the difference in battery behaviors. These batteries, however, work well in tools which sustain an even power demand without needing surges in power. For example, the Dewalt 5A battery lasts about 18 minutes in my leaf blower, and these 6A batteries lasted roughly as long, too, and without overheating. Depending on your use case these are a heck of a bargain. I would, however, suggest you consider the above and plan accordingly before choosing these over even a single Dewalt 6A battery.
