This was smaller than expected and the decoration items included are a bit stingy. I’ll have to dive into my craft box for more items to complete the project. It’s definitely not large enough to be a functional stepping stone (maybe about 8” diameter?), which is what we were hoping for.

Easy to mix and has enough time before it sets to get just the right print if you need to try a couple times. Just shake the little mold and it will fill back in if you mess up. My son wasnt cooperative the first couple of trys to get the footprint. I let it sit for 20 min before my first attempt to get the print and still had a good 10 min of working time. Not going to make you anything fancy with this but it's still nice for a simple craft item. I used it for dog prints. Definitely follow the instructions on preparing the mold.

This is not a stepping stone it was plaster not cement as stated in description. It fell apart immediately.

    • Great finished gift! Making it was a doozy.
Neat gift idea and end product is nice. Making was somewhat annoying. Water ratio mixture seemed off. Had to add more which made drying take much longer. Give yourself time to do, and patience. End product is nice and worth it.

I purchased this for my girls to make their hand prints, but I am not sure it will be big enough. I thought the mold would be at least 12 inches but its much smaller

This is definitely for a child. It’s great in theory but I wanted this as a handprint gift for my dad and the stone cracked into 3 pieces before it even fully dried. I ended up getting a legit one at hobby lobby and it was much better. Super easy to use and cute though if you don’t want to ever touch it lol ... show more
