  • Perfect safety tool all women and property owners should have!
The media could not be loaded. These night vision googles are really cool! They have about a 200-300ft zoom capability via the manual wheel on the bottom (exactly like traditional binoculars when you manually adjust the zoom distance and clarity of the image). They can also see up close, about 1ft away as well after manual adjustment via the zoom wheel. They are very high quality and I was amazed how clear the 4k image is. I also love that on the bottom of the googles there is a hole that allows you to attach the goggles to a tripod for hands free use. The battery lasts quite long and I appreciate that it charges quickly back to 100% after using it. I am also quite impressed that these goggles can see, very clearly, text on labels at night as well even in pitch black. These will also come in handy as we live in a neighborhood where we've had incidents of suspicious individuals being out at night and now we will be able to film any criminal activity and use the footage to report to the police. I also like how I can check the darkness for lurking people or animals before going outside. As a woman, these goggles make me feel safer at night. Overall I highly recommend them. They are high quality and well built. They would make an excellent gift especially for property owners or women who live alone and have to go outside at night. Side note: these have a flashlight capability. On the top of the goggles one of the buttons turns on a very bright, very blinding, flashlight. Overall I'm very impressed and will be using these often. ... show more

  • Seriously Cool Tech - Worth Every Penny!
I bought these 4K Night Vision Goggles a while back, and honestly, they're just fantastic. I was expecting something decent, but these things really punch above their weight. The picture quality is what really sells it. The 4K recording is super crisp—no joke. When you look through the 4.5-inch screen, everything is clear, not just a fuzzy green blob like those old military movies. I took these out to a dark field and was spotting deer way off in the distance (the 2600+ ft range they advertise is legit). They feel really solid in your hands, which I appreciate; I hate flimsy gear. The controls are simple to use, even when you're fumbling around in the dark. It’s a great gadget for camping, checking out property boundaries at night, or just feeling like a secret agent for a few hours. If you're looking for professional-grade performance without the crazy price tag, stop scrolling and grab these. You won't regret it. ... show more

  • Budget friendly night vision goggles
Very well made, better than I was expecting. Bunch of features to use. I do love the green lighted button option and the infrared works very well to capture HD images at night. The seller is responsive and friendly if you have any questions. Back to searching for Bigfoot. ✌️

  • Decent build, but usage limited to staying still, scanning, and observing slow or still subjects
This is active infrared (IR), which can be described as "Gen 0" night vision. Basically very little ability to see in low or no-visible light conditions without using infrared light sources. This unit comes w/ a built in visible fill/flashlight, which makes it stand apart from other similar active IR scopes, and it comes with a built in IR flashlight. The IR beam is invisible to the human eye and most animals, but security cameras are everywhere nowadays and most can see IR, so if you're using this scope with IR on, the scope's IR lamp will be a bright point of light in a security camera (or someone else with night vision scope). Flip side, most security cameras have IR lamps turned on in the dark, so you could use this scope to see using those *other* IR sources, but for this unit, the only way to do that while hiding your own IR is to turn the IR on to activate night vision/infrared sensitivity, then use something to cover the unit's IR lamp, like cupping your hand over a regular flashlight to hide the light. BTW, the IR lamp when it is on also has a human-visible faint red glow, but if the scope isn't moving it's easy to miss in the dark. And you shouldn't be moving while using this scope anyway. The field of view is about 20 degrees, which is similar to looking through a hole a bit smaller than a dime (about 0.5 inches). With that much of your view covered up, if you are in the dark, you really can't move around safely with just the view of the scope. Now, normally there's usually enough light (moonlight, a bit of outside street lighting through windows) for a human to see by after eyes adjust to darkness after about 15 minutes BUT the screen on this scope even at lowest brightness is well enough to prevent human natural night vision adjustment. So what happens is you're using the scope to essentially look through a dime-sized hole but get pretty good grayscale image out to a few dozen yards, but you can't really see anything else because your eyes can't adjust to the dark. Keep that in mind, that's the biggest note, but there's a few more. Next, the scope has a minimum 2x magnification, but it appears to be optical since text seems clearer. This is fine for helping see further out, but combined with the 20 degree FOV it does limit your view of closer objects even further. I don't know much about optics, but I guess this magnification also means a focus ring is required, because objects too close or too far away from the scope come out of focus. Combine these with the earlier notes and what happens is that to make any use of these scopes, you pretty much have to stay in a fixed position, scanning to get night vision across your search area, until you find what you want to observe, and what you want to observe needs to be slow or also in a fixed position so you don't lose focus or struggle to keep a narrow cone aimed at it. Even if you knew roughly where to aim the scope beforehand, if you look at the scope's LED screen you lose the ability to see your wider environment in low light for at least 5-10 minutes. You *could* turn the visible light on, but then you reveal yourself to any wildlife you may be observing. There are a couple things you can do to work around the limitations. You could cover one of your eyes while looking at the screen so your covered eye still keeps low light vision, and you could put up some small dim human-visible lights further out, or use the stars or other existing lighting to give you visual references to keep you oriented while your eyes are prevented from adjusting to low light. BTW, if you're behind glass, the IR lamp on this scope will be like using a flashlight on your side to look through glass at something outside. You'll get very poor performance, since most of the light will be bouncing back on your side instead of going outside. You can work around that by putting up IR light sources outside, or putting the scope as close to the glass as you can and try not to have the IR light bounce directly back to the camera which would be like blinding yourself with flashlight. (Also, the IR light on this will do the thing where human/animal eyes show up bright, because those eyes are reflective enough to flash light back). Besides that, these aren't technically binoculars, since there is only 1 optics tube, but it is binoculars in shape/form factor. You use it by holding it up near your eyes like binoculars, but personally, I would have preferred a palm camcorder style with swivel screen for more range of use, which I also think would have saved about 30-40% of the bulk--I'm pretty sure this scope has a lot of empty space inside to fit into the binoculars form factor. The 2x optical magnification probably takes up a bit of that, but I also could have probably done without it if it meant not having to refocus the lens. There's also enough heft/weight that a camcorder form factor w/ swivel screen would be more comfortable to hold. Anyway, this scope seems fine for particular uses, mainly hiding in one spot while observing wildlife or slow scanning an area out to a couple dozen yards (maybe 10-15 car lengths). If I wanted to keep a lower profile I wouldn't use this in urban environments without remembering to tape up the IR lamp first and using the scope to see if other IR lamps are active in the area (indicating cameras that my own scope's IR lamp would brightly give me away). As for just fooling around, toy use, it's got some fun factor, but you don't want to hand this to someone clumsy or can't sit still to use in the dark, because they will trip and bump into things they can't see because the only thing they can see is what the narrow 20 FOV view on the scope can show on the screen. ... show more

  • Good night vision
This does its purpose well, functionally allowing you to see in the dark. It has a high zoom rate so you can see from far away. The image quality is nice. Very easy to use and understand out of the box. Lightweight so you won’t be tired holding it for a long time

  • So cool!
Got this for some birding family members and they love it! Plus the ability to do video and pictures is a huge bonus. They get to come back and showm me all the birds they saw that I could not care less about. So I guess that is a drawback if you're giving this as a gift. 😁
