This device has a good combination of features: binoculars, camera, and night vision. It’s easy to use. The buttons are clearly labeled, the software menu is straightforward, and there’s a nice strap on the right side to keep the unit from falling if you lose your grip. The main thing I figured people would want to know is the real-world image quality and night vision performance. I took some photos of the lawn chairs in my yard. The first image is from my iPhone to establish a baseline. It isn’t zoomed in at all. The next image of the lawn chairs was taken from the same spot with the binoculars and no zoom. What you see there is basically where they start, and it goes farther from there. Then there’s a night vision image, also taken from the same spot before sunrise. You can see that the night vision function works, even at a pretty good distance. I also took a short video. The image quality is maybe a little less than what I get from my iPhone, but the images are still quite good, and objects can be easily identified even at a distance. The night vision image doesn’t look quite as good on a large screen as it does on the device itself. It can be a little tricky to tell whether the focus is perfectly dialed in while looking at the built-in display. An image may look sharp on the unit's screen but appear slightly out of focus when viewed larger later. Images and video can be saved to a microSD card, which is handy. I also tried connecting the device to my MacBook with a USB cable to see if I could access the files directly, but I wasn’t able to make that work. The unit started charging, but that was it. I’m really fond of these. Night vision used to be expensive, and this unit offers a lot of capability for the money, especially when compared to what night vision equipment used to cost.

I gave these 4 stars please keep in mind.I was torn between three and four because they do work and the night vision functions as advertised, but the overall build quality left me a little disappointed. The binoculars are extremely lightweight, which may be a positive for some people, but to me they feel more like a toy than a rugged piece of outdoor equipment. The image quality is decent and the controls are fairly easy to use. However, the plastic housing doesn't inspire a lot of confidence when it comes to long-term durability. I expected something with a little more weight and a sturdier feel considering the advertised features. If you're looking for an inexpensive night vision device for casual use, these may do the job. Just don't expect a premium, heavy-duty set of binoculars. They work, but the overall feel and construction keep them from earning a higher rating from me. But to be honest, they are definitely a very cool item, especially when you focus them in and you can see at night. All nighttime is black and white, but very clear just, we wish they felt a little bit more.Heavy duty.But for the price, they are not bad at all
