I also own an earlier version of this same camera and I found it to be a great little cheap digital camera.comparing this new model, It’s obviously not as advanced as the pricier cameras but if you’ve got a beginner of a young one and are looking for a decent starter camera, it’s a solid investment. It’s light, easy to operate, and now has a vertical flip up screen. I found this to be pretty intuitive and takes good little pics. The media could not be loaded. Great price, nice camera. It’s a dupe of the Canon camera that been unavailable for months. Perfect size, which makes it easy to carry while hiking. Color quality is decent, I haven’t uploaded or printed images out just yet. Very easy to function. Long lasting battery. Could easily go a couple days without charging. The videos could be a little bit better, but it only reminds me of old-school vlogging.     • Do Not Buy For Shooting Video - Terrible Sound Quality

This was....not the greatest. It's very cheaply made and the bare minimum. I bought it to take video and the sound quality is AWFUL - tinny, low volume. It almost sounds like I was filming on a toy camera. I finally found out how to turn the button beep off - which was LOUD - but when you take video and need to adjust any settings, you can hear a LOUD click if you push any buttons while filming. I'm not sure if you can add an external mic - I do have a lavalier I'm going to try and I'll edit this if it works. But I'm pretty sure the camera would pick up the loud click if you needed to press any buttons while filming. The SD card is a micro one, which I didn't realize, so I'd need an adapter for it. There is no lens cap but they do provide a lens cleaning cloth. This *might* be best used as a photography camera only. I didn't try it but I'm sure the pics would be okay. You do have to read through the instructions to figure out what all the settings are and what the symbols mean. It's not a point and shoot - you do have to learn how to adjust the settings to your needs. DO NOT BUY FOR SHOOTING VIDEO. Save your money and invest in a trusted name brand camera instead. ... show more

I purchased this camera for casual use. The camera comes with two batteries, a charging cord, microSD card, a bag for the camera, a wrist lanyard, a small cleaning cloth, and instructions. As with anything new, it takes some time to get used to. The instructions are easy to follow. I like the flip screen, for taking selfies. The burst feature is great too. I can’t comment on taking videos, I have not taken a video with the camera. The picture quality is nice. I do not like that the battery can only be charged while in the camera.
