I WANTED to love this little 4K video camera, I really did... so I took quite a while to explore the features and functions it offered... but in the end, it just isn't a very good video recorder. I have a drone with a 4K video camera, and that is *fantastic*! This, on the other hand, produces flat looking video with poor color saturation and poor auto focus control. The digital zoom is a joke in bad taste. The button controls sometimes take multiple presses to work - like the 'night vision' button. I've had to punch it a couple of times to get it to click on.... The provided lenses allow you to get closer in than the native lens does, or wider angle, but with a lot of poor-lens edge distortion. Note that there isn't a lens cap provided, but the add-on lenses have a set of caps (...?) The SD Card slot is VERY difficult to access - and the camera always powers on when you open the display, even if all you wanted to do was get at the SD card. In the end, the price is way to high for how poorly this camera works. ... show more

    • Poor video and sound quality
I don't even know how this camcorder gets an average rating of four stars. The video and quality are both very bad. How bad? I got this kit for free, and I still returned it. There are a few positives though. The packaging is great. The product looks very nice. It is very easy to setup and use. But everything else is bad. There is no way to focus on the subject you want to shoot since it the focus is fixed. The video is grainy unless you are shooting in a bright environment. It has no optical zoom, only digital, so you get less resolution as you zoom in. The sound is weak with poor frequency range. It also sound distorted. For close to 300 bucks, you can get a cheap android phone that shoot much better video, but you won't get the fancy look of this camera though. Or even better, get a used Panasonic GH3 with a kit lens. My recommendation is to stay away from this camcorder. ... show more

I have tested 65$ video cameras that performed better than this recorder. At this price point I expected a little better picture, performance and quality. This is overpriced for what it is, a toy.
