I used this to cover the walkways in my garden with mulch over top of it. Very thick and durable. Seems to also be tear resistant. My only complaint is that bermuda grass is still able to grow through it as it pushes between the seams.

I bought several rolls by different companies on Amazon and weeds grew through all of them! I just bought another weed killer product for $90 to spray all over, so the weeds are dead now. When they grow back I’ll take pics. I put the landscape fabric down a year ago, sprayed before for weeds, mulch on top. I was at a nursery today and they have landscape fabric down and they told me no weeds grow through theirs. Obviously different brand. I have weeded and sprayed multiple times since installing all over my back, front, and side yard. I wasted my time and money! Update: I found pics I took 11/24 of all the weeds that grew through the fabric. I travel a lot, which is why I put down landscape fabric and mulch and this is the mess I returned to. ... show more

Will it work? Yes… is it the best? Probably not. I installed and I had left some grass because it was just too much. (I did Kill most of it) Some grass did come through the fabric, so it’s not 100% proof, I haven’t tried “good tier” fabric, but… so far this one was a fraction of the cost of Lowe’s or Home Depot, and if I have to pluck once in a while a few grasses here and there. It’s worth it honestly. My opinion… 4.5/5 because I’ve never had top top top weed barriers, so idk what perfect would be. But this is damn close to perfect. (Comes with ground staples, which is a huge money saver than buying them from Lowe’s or HD) ... show more
