It’s pretty durable! Fits my 55 tank well and has plenty of storage. It took me and my girlfriend around 1-2 hours to complete building it. It has an app for the lights in case you lose the remote which I like.

It would be a 5, but no. First of all, the instructions are like me trying to build a bed from scratch. It looks great; after the first two steps, it was easy to build. This product is made out of substandard compressed wood. Very fragile to work with when assembly is in progress resulting in snapping apart when attempting to install pins. Furthermore , the price savings in exchange for self-assembly is not worth the headache. The return process is even more complicated as the item provider must be contacted for a return authorization, as instructed by AMZN rep. , who is stationed at an overseas call center in a “ boiler room “ operation with loud background conversations which in addition to the language barriers , makes calling AMZN rep., despite being forwarded before speaking to rep by AMZN AI generated “ please be kind to AMZN rep” , a very difficult process. Additionally if the customer has a language barrier themselves , this is a recipe for a communications comedy of errors. And if by chance , AMZN rep is slightly challenged or spoken to in an assertive way, AMZN rep. will rudely end call by rudely pushing the “ hang up on customer button !!!! ... show more
