Instructions were straightforward, built it by myself in about 2 hours. Seems extremely sturdy and the Axolotls like it! I love having the storage space for items, though I didn't use the LED lights that were included and I'll be using the bottom shelf for stuff, not another tank. Still, I'm pleased with the quality vs the price, and the power outlets are very handy. I will concede that I was very hesitant about ordering a stand and plopping a 75 gallon tank of water and gravel on top of it as poor quality could spell disaster. This stand seems pretty solid though. The metal reinforced structure with 8 points of contact on the floor are pretty reassuring. I went together rather smoothly and the instructions were easy to follow. I hope it lasts as long as the 15 year old one I replaced, lol. ... show more

Amazing and very sturdy! It did take some time to assemble since it’s a large unit, and the screwdriver provided isn’t ideal. However, I was able to build it on my own using my own tools. Overall, it’s a great piece. The materials are good quality and have a solid, substantial feel to them. The only minor issue was that the door to the storage cubby was slightly warped, so it’s not completely flush at the bottom right corner. That said, it’s still an excellent value for the price — even with the additional ~$30 shipping cost. Note: Delivery was quick. Unfortunately (not the seller’s fault), FedEx delivered it to the wrong area instead of my unit. Using the photo provided by FedEx, I was able to locate the package after a little investigating. ... show more

Looks nice, but the screws holding in the wooden pieces are awful. They ripped out multiple times while I was trying to assemble it. I was being very careful and deliberate, but the screws really don't have anything to grip onto. There is a metal frame around the wooden pieces, I'm hoping this is sturdier than it looks when fully assembled. ... show more
